Our First Ever Cruise On Utopia of the Seas!

Today we are boarding Utopia of the Seas. This is Royal Caribbeans NEWEST Oasis Class cruise ship and they're calling it the world's biggest weekend. We're going to explore some of the new additions to this ship, including a giant windjammer with some really unique offerings alongside a waterslide that I have never seen before. We obviously have to show you
our interior room overlooking central park before heading to dinner which included our favorite meal all trip. The night comes to an end singing our favorite songs and watching Youtopia Royal's brand new ice-skating show
with a finale you don't wanna miss!

Thank you!! I had it on my phone, Nicole did not. It's quick internet for browsing. I don't think you can download or upload too quick, though. But it's pricey, but worth if you want to stay connected!

Haha - you sound like me - it's a boat. I'm ALWAYS getting corrected - it's a ship. I'll call it a boat if I want! 🤣 That Windjammer looks great - and their food is usually pretty good., but sometimes as you noticed, some food can be off. Did you get on the slide? Curious to hear how it was. I've been on those rocky cruises - yowset! RC put out barf bags everywhere in case people needed them! Cool video - looks like you guys had fun. Be well.

LOL Right? Hard habit to break. Oh well! It really is bizarre how some things on this cruise were not as good as Allure, and that was just a few months ago. Crazy... We didn't end up getting to do it. The line moves so slow and when we finally were doing it, the rain came for the rest of the last day and we couldn't do it, as they stopped taking people. Kind of stunk. Just have to go again to try it! LOL

I just checked the prices for Utopia vs Allure. Utopia was twice as much. However I bet once the Allure gets revolutionized the price will go up.

That may be the case, for sure. We found that Utopia has been going up in price, when we first booked it was a couple hundred dollars cheaper. I imagine icon will be the same way, once the next 2 ships in the icon class release we will see it drop down.

I enjoyed that! Last month I was on the Celebrity Edge (owned by RC) and I've also been on the "Freedom," "Anthem," and "Harmony" of the seas. I'm also hoping to check out the "Icon" sooner or later. I'm also surprised that it was rocking so much. Would you say that it was tilting or shifting back and forth?

@nathanielseymour8108 oh nice! You've been on quite a number of their ships! I've done liberty, navigator, oasis, Allure and now Utopia. I'd LOVE to get on Icon but we know that'll be tough to score with the price. I'm hoping with star and more ships getting added to the fleet it'll help the price go down. The ship was going very much left and right sometimes front and back. But you could just tell it wasn't wanting to sit still haha!

@@Dillon.Thomas Yep, I'm guessing either the "Icon" or the "Star" will be my next cruise. The edge was rocking on one of our days at sea coming back from Alaska. From what I heard, there was a storm behind us. Ultimately it depends on the weather and as far as I'm concerned about the ship.....the bigger the better. :)

@@simplyaj4006 They didn't have the smoothie bar at their spa 😭😭 So you can do virgin drinks, but they didn't have the normal one on board.

@@pushanka We didn't find anywhere. And when we asked one of the bartenders in the Windjammer he said they didn't have anywhere to get them on board. So we kind of assumed that was accurate. Really bummed us out.
