In finnish trains, if you plan your trip like month ahead, you can get the tickets half price, for example sleeper cabin with a toilet/shower on newer trains from helsinki to oulu is only 104€ (so 52€/per person if traveling with a partner)

Exactly, i bought ticket's almost 5 months before me and 3 other's went to santa village. For the 4 of us and 2 sleeper cabins i payed 160 euro's, and i checked price 1 week before we went, and it would have costed 600 euros.

Thanks again, Mauro 🥰 You did very well with ”ravintolavaunu” 7:00 I’m proud of your pronunciation 👏🏻 Having your own bed/cabin on the night train is super convenient, as it saves both time and the price of a hotel night. Suits me when I live in the middle of Finland and go to visit Helsinki or Turku 👌🏼

12:30 I take this train almost every winter to see my grandma and there's actually 2 stops in Helsinki, The first one is the Helsinki main train station which is the more historic, and then there's the pasila train station which after getting pedestrian's in spends from 20-40minutes connecting the vehicle cargo carriages to the main train because you can actually bring your own car or motorcycle from Pasila to Oulu and also it will stop for another 20-40minutes after getting pedestrian's who want leave at Oulu off the train

I've travelled in this train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi and you don't actually have to put all clothes and shoes on to go to the bathroom in the middle of night. The floors are kept really clean so you can just walk to the bathroom in your socks (I use wool socks as travel socks) 😋 And for example a pyjama with a top and a bottom is enough clothing for a bathroom break. I've seen people walk about the sleeper cars in bathrobes etc. 😅

Pendolino trains are italian made?
@mauronicolo89Ай бұрын
I think so
@yesterdaysrose5446Ай бұрын
@@mauronicolo89 yes, Pendolinos are made in Italy! Fiat Ferroviaria, now part of Alstom I think? [train nerd mode] Though the technology was originally invented in the UK. They couldn't make it work, though. The Advanced Passenger Train (APT) was a failure. There's a hilarious clip somewhere where a TV presenter is sitting on the APT cafeteria car, saying it's a "smooth, quiet, comfortable, and an all together delightful experience", while all of the plates and cups are loudly rattling in the background. Can tell that at least in Finland the Pendolinos fixed those issues, though!

Hello from Finland! It's been nice to see you reaction videos, like this one! I hope you could at sometime react followings: Johan Venninen True Grit parts I, II and III. Each have 2 parts (those should have English subtitles) - This shows true sisu at everyways life, great life attitude (no whining of things etc) Also one more, bit different to react. In my opinion one of top Finnish youtubers, Ali Leiniö, check his channel and pick eather some of latest one, or for example one from last winter like "Hot tent, deer stew and a starry sky | -28°C" for example. And ye, also his videos should nowdays have english subtitles..
@PapilioArgiolusАй бұрын
I agree and recommend those too 👍🏼 Ali Leiniö’s videos are amazing 👌🏼
