Can't wait for your Disneyland episode! Shanghai Disneyland has some of the best rides of all the parks, including a trackless Zootopia ride, and an reimagined version of the classic Pirates of the Caribbean ride, which is immersive and epic.

nice vlog! shanghai is a nice entry level starting point in china since it's cosmopolitan enough you don't feel too out of place. the downside is it's probably the most expensive city in china and it's just that, a mega-city. that meal you had would be easily half what you paid even in a nice restaurant away from tourist zones. and yes, no need to tip in china. here in the usa tipping is getting out of control lol. I know you may hear various reasons not to tip. it's not that it's illegal or restricted by anyone. it's just cultural. 'face' is a big deal in china and it would take a lot for someone to ask for money - like absolute last resort. so when you try to give money beyond the listed fees for a service/product especially to someone visibly older than you, it's can be taken as some kind of handout and thus insult. even if someone goes out of their way to do something for you, tipping is not necessary as they are doing it to be helpful and not because they expect anything in return.

Thank you. It’s a great city. We were happy with the meal and the price. Would have cost a lot more at home in UK or in USA, where we usually vacation (Orlando, NYC, LA). The people were lovely everywhere we visited and so appreciative that we had come to China. We loved it and will definitely go back one day.

@@HackettFamily China has mountains and rivers. You can also go to see pandas, the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors, the world of Avatar - Zhangjiajie, and the Muslim Xinjiang. In short, China is a country where you can be safe anywhere. Only by truly feeling and seeing it can you find that it is completely different from what the Western media promotes.

@@HackettFamily The Forbidden City in Beijing will let you feel the ancient royal style, the 50,000-kilometer Great Wall will make you marvel at the greatest ancient architecture, and the unique mountain city of Chongqing, China, will let you experience the world of cyberpunk. Chinese food is also very delicious. Your biggest worry when coming to China may not be safety, but your weight gain.

17:44 that's expensive, i mean for that kind of restaurant maybe it's normal, but you can have same dishes in local restaurant for like 200 rmb

Most hotels in China are not expensive and are very clean. I hope you can choose a nicer hotel. Wish you enjoy your trip to China. If you come to Beijing, you can contact me and I'll treat you to douzhi (a traditional Beijing beverage).

A few tips, try not to swing your camera too fast making me feel dizzy and you need to get a good microphone because it’s picking up a lot of background noise (winds) apart from that everything is great.
