Our First Group Trail Ride/Exploring Ozark NF

After spending the night at Haw Creek Falls campground, we had the awesome opportunity to go on a Rigs and Coffee group trail ride. We had never heard of this group until we ran into Chris and Amy, who were also camped at the Campground. They invited us to tag along and we had a great time and was able to explore and see much more than we would have on our own. We can't thank them enough for inviting us along. We hope you enjoy watching the ride just as much as we enjoyed it!

Just found you guys recently and sub'ed. I like your honesty and your rapport with each other as well as your choice of music for your videos. I have a new Tacoma and I admire that you guys tagged on to that group and went through some pretty technical tracks that I would be afraid to do in my truck LOL. Gonna be picking up a new Hiker trailer in Columbus, IN end of March and starting my adventure (I’m retired). Thanks for the video's!

Welcome! Thank you so much! We seriously considered a Hiker, especially since we could get one right here in Indiana. A huge community has developed around them too. We are enjoying our Campinawe. We love to drive on dirt roads but that was probably the roughest one we have been on. It was a lot of fun even though there were a couple scary spots. Thank you for the kind comments - we have our moments, lol, but really do love our time together, especially when we are out exploring!

Colorado, wyoming, utah is some of the best back roads and scenery you can see. Arkansas is very nice though.

After this we are going down to Hot Springs and then Land Between the Lakes. We're hoping over Spring Break to go down to the Southern part of Hoosier NF right on the river. We haven't been down there in a few years, but remember that there were some pretty interesting places there. Thanks for watching!

Us too! The more times we drove across one the easier it got, but just weren't sure about the mudhole, lol! We don't have a lift, just a leveling kit, but we do have slightly bigger tires 33"

Where exactly is this trail? I know y'all went across the bridges from the previous video but after that where was the fire tower and all the water?

We were mainly just following along but did record some tracks. Didn't mark any way points. We're trying to get better at recording all that. We crossed that concrete bridge off Carwash Falls road heading W and we ended up coming out just south of Haw Creek Falls Campground.

@@HEKNBAK was the fire tower and water before you came out near Haw Creek?

Hey Josh, the fire tower was shortly after we crossed the concrete bridge off Carwash Falls. Several miles maybe but closer to that. A lot of the water crossing though were closer to where we came out by Haw Creek. You can find Union Schoolhouse on Google maps and a couple of the water crossings were right next to that. There were several more in that area and that mud wasn't too far if I remember right. As soon as I get a chance I will see if we still have the tracks from that day, and if we can figure out how to download them.

Hey Josh, finally found that track! I don't have any experience sharing these files and didn't fix places where we lost signal, but it gives you a pretty good idea of where we went. Hope it helps!
