Hope they do not fall for the big home trope..this house easily can fit a family of 4 . In large homes TONS of space is wasted. I have a 1200 foot bungalow and barely use 3 rooms

In Mill Valley, this home is most likely 2.2- 2.5 M, so a relatively decent budget...but what the Meyers have created is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful!

Carmel, CA is one of the most expensive areas in all of CA, which is also expensive as a state. This house is likely at least $750k-$1,000,000, or more. They are not scrimping budget wise “on what they could afford”, or they’d be somewhere else. 😉

Although this home ain't little. Here in Germany 90 sqm is a normal size for a home of 3. But I guess over in the US you have different sizes😉 But this home has everything one can need. It has the right size, a lot of light, cozy rooms, a more than beautiful garden, an extra cottage (!!), what more can anybody ask for? I would love to have a home like this! They really are such a handsome couple and he looks at her so sweetly…she is a lucky girl….keep buying lamps…I have over 50 lamps in our home….lamps make it much homier…hugs carolyn…I know y’all are very young parents…but you will have to remove the paintings over her bed…she will somehow knock them down and may get hurt…only put soft sculptures over a bed…..I am speaking from experience….it is very pretty. Maybe a little quilt over her bed…don’t be mad at me…I am a grandmother now…when she starts making drawings…please please frame all of her art….save her baby shoes and hang them on your Christmas tree….I came up with that idea 47 years ago and all my friends have done it too…hugs carolyn

First of all I love this channel and these home tours. The neutrality and sunlight add such a calmness in this home. I loved hearing their story and seeing the pictures of them-they have the same smile! This home seemed so much bigger than the stated 900 feet! This is a special home! Everything is comfy and inviting and oh! that garden and cottage! Enjoyed how you both appreciate all you have and each other! Our first house was 810 square ft. with an established back yard and we thought we were the luckiest people in the world! She did a great job styling their cozy home. The other thing that makes it work is the PERFECT climate of Mill Valley. Indoor/outdoor living nearly year round makes a small home feel much larger, especially if you have a lovely garden space. I miss the Bay Area!
