I think a lot of people need to start doing high shoulder shots. With how far some animals run, and the differences in blood trailing between this game and others, having animals drop in their tracks would help a lot. I know when I get this game, that's what I'll be doing.

Ive hunted wild pigs in texas, we normally aim for the head, but the few ive seen run, they do exactly like they did in the game. Just run until they fall over

Hogs do indeed often take off like a bat outta hell when shot and then just run until they fall unlike most other animal species

Hogs shoulder blades are super hard so smaller calibers don’t blow through it

Yah I definitely enjoyed this map more then nez pierce. First thing I do is drive to all the lodges and inspect each map then walk to every question mark and as I do that I scope out feeding and drinking zones then I go HUNTING

How effective are head shots? As the credits seem to track with meat wastage, for credit grinding at least, would head shots drop them and be a decent technique?

I guess from what I've seen, the hunting rating will be low and that means the amount of money you will get will be low as well. The best way to get money is to get the humane kill.

@@jasperbean1 I mean... Yes, it's a tricky shot, that's probably why it's called "inhumane" but I mean, IF you hit the brain, what would be more humane than a quick kill the animal probably won't even notice?

@@Keyrathify that's true. I wanted to replace humane with another word. But still can't figure out which one xD. But to follow guidelines/rules of hunting. Going for a headshot is not a proper way to conduct the sport. A part of that rule is that you don't want to damage trophies. It's tough to repair a nice head with rack if you shoot it in the brain.

Boars have so short legs their stumbling isn't very visible irl They usually run till they either hit the dirt with their face and plop down or hit the dirt with the face and flip over from impact.

what about Tier 4 animals ?? The 30-30 is Tier 4 caliber but in the encyclopedia there was no Tier 4 animal in the list !!? so with what caliber do you shoot them and do you loose money when shooting a Tier 3 with a 300Mag or 270 ?

I am a Texan and hunt hogs quite a bit...and they will just run when hit unless you break their back or neck or leg....very seldom do they kick or jump....in my experience

So my map of Transylvania is not labelling the different territories so I have no idea what different parts of the map are called. I had to google where Regina mountains were to do the hunting literacy job. Anybody know why this would be?

So you have to go into the cabin in each region and inspect the map. That will give you the names on your map 😄

I think he is just using the short form not pronouncing "milimeter" :) Lots of hunters use short form for many chamberings. I own a 7mm (Which is actually called "7 Milimeter Remington Magnum" and just say "I am going out and I think i'll take the "7" :p Venturing into "over explination terrotory" even further (sorry). He is using 7mm-08 which is different than "7mm" Lots of women use the 7mm-08 as an alternate to the 7mm because it uses the exact same size bullet but has much less recoil and is pretty comparable to the .270 win. Again, sorry for the over explination and I acknowledge you may already know all of what I just wrote but perhaps someone else reading didn't and a lil extra info couldn't hurt right? :)

It is a pain as i felt the 360 and ps3 were supported for almost half a decade after the newer gen came out while it seems the ps4 and xbone have been quickly left in the dust. However its completely understandable due to the grand scale of this game and the hardware required to run it. Try and pick up an xbox series s, they’re only like $400 or less and should be able to run this game if its not on the highest settings

The price for a series s at walmart is 379.99 which is honestly ridiculous for a lower end console, however, not as ridiculous as my PS5 that was $700 plus tax. Also even though its off topic the cheapest house available in the GTA costs nearly a million dollars and anything that doesn’t look like shit is 1.5 million plus. Toronto is actually the third most expensive city in North America so people in Toronto and even in the rest of Canada really are living rough :((
