Also visit Sigiriya, the ancient heritage of Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura. Visit jungle sanctuaries like Yala and Ridiyagama to see the animals of Sri Lanka.

Raja Bojun is biggest Sri Lankan buffet. Large spread of Sri Lankan food. You may want to call and find out details before you go. But very beautiful ambients and great food. Vihara Haha Devi park is beautiful place if you just like stroll and relax. In that area you get the "Sri Lankan White House", municipal building, independence square and Renovated Old Dutch Hospital. If you like to get a beautiful view of Colombo City, newly opened Port City Colombo (free of charge) nice place for some photo opportunities.

While in Colombo go to Galle Face green , which is near Shangri La hotel. Also go to “Dutch Hospital” which is like a shopping precinct for some great food. Outside Colombo visit Galle Dutch Fort, Unawatuna beach, and Dikwella beach. If you like wildlife go to Udawalawa. If you like old historic stuff(about 1500 years old) go to sigiriya and Anuradhapura. To experience some colder climate and see tea plantations go to nuwara eliya and Ella. Enjoy your stay here and good luck ☺️!

Always try to get meter taxy and asked for price before start the ride. Be aware any scammers they are in evey part of world and sri lanka also has. Most people can undesirable and speak English. Some Vilage people are so kind even they are having language barrier. Lot of vloggers are goong colombo,galle, kandy and yala parks. I would recommend you to try in North part and Eastern part also willpatthu safari.trinco beaches. Lovely north part sri Lankan hospitality. Always try to get advised common locals but not people who target the tourists . Currently island going to economic and so-called crisis hope it won't have a issue like you guys. Stay safe!!

The food there costs at least twice or three times more than the price you pay at a local shop. Also that portion of the Kottu you ate was so small. I get that you won't be able to eat much. But they are supposed to give you more than that.

welcome guys hope you guys will be our next to watch you tubers here in sri lanka. recomendations hah ok first if you need to buy stuff use the local markets they are much cheaper then eat at local shops not all hotels are hotels remember that. use bottled water when you can mostly in the city. wear light. research hotels that have power all the time. ask locals people ,will help a lot. tuk tuk is the best way to go around ofcouse you can use train and buss. haggle the prices most people are honest but there are scammers. smile a lot there is nothing called cat calling here be safe go to kandy then ella first .hope to follow you through your journey.
