These people haven't ever travelled out of their city and are eager to utter rubbish about other places based on few unwanted incidents which happen everywhere on this planet. I would suggest you to do visit Uttar Pradesh and Bihar if you wish to see India's rich heritage and people here are really soo nice and welcoming. Just plan your itinerary and enjoy your time.
