I enjoy this so much. As an old man, I just wanted to thank you, Paul, for being the man you are. I can see your boys looking up to you and remembering these things that you do with and for them. Perhaps they will also pass these memories down to their children when the time comes. Now, about groaning when getting into a vehicle. As a really old man, "66 years young, " I generally fall into a vehicle and crawl out of it. But hey, the groaning helps to cover the popping and cracking of my old stiff joints. Read a LOT of comments on another site about the Mower race! Lots of folks who dont know a thing say you were overpowered and that is why you went off track MORE THEN ONCE !!! But that is not the case ! Paul was just over driving the Corners had he BACKED UP HIS TURNS he could have gone FASTER ! There is a ART to going fast and I have raced many laps ! The other thing needed to REALLY GO FASTER Would have been about 2 inches of STAGGER in the RF and 3 or 4 inches of STAGGER in the RR ! Having STAGGER REALLY REALLY HELPS to ROTATE the turn ! then Adding about 1/4 inch of TOE OUT Helps keep it going STRAIGHT ! With the radius of those turns a Little ACKERMAN in the left front would really let it enter on the inside ! But its a MOWER NOT A SPRINTCAR Hope this helps and we see these improvements built into the next go round!!!

Yeah Paul just never lifted . Hunter lifted going into the turn then was back wide open mid turn ✓ plus I think the bike bars work better than the wheel on them too

Hunter is considerably lighter than Paul, making him more maneuverable in the corners. There's no doubt that tweaking the suspension would be a great idea no matter what.

I ran down to Tucson with my dad to get a part for his old ww2 jeep. The shop we were at there was a man who I started to talk to about Jeeps and we found out we both like Fabrats. Quick and easy tip from an old small engine repair guy, any time you have install or uninstall a tensioner spring on a pulley, sprocket or, two stroke exhaust, run a piece of wire, twine or, paracord through the hood end of the spring and pull it onto whatever it hooks to. Saves busted knuckles and blood blisters.

You said what I was thinking, Paul. It needs to slide better. Watch the video and you will see that with the weight transfer to the outside, the right rear tire digs in and rolls under a bit. More power won't help that. A stiffer tire without knobs will help immensely. Check out midgets or mini sprints or even go carts that race on dirt regularly. That is what my brother and I did 40 years ago when we were racing 3 wheelers. We used go-cart slicks and grooved them ourselves. Was much more stable without the right rear digging in. Your cub is sure fast. Good luck

When you see cars play like Paul does it's called bump to pass. No bump the pass doesn't count, and you can expect some good crashes and lots of fun. Try putting water in the tires on the left side and see if it helps keep it down.
