Seems like you done pretty much everything to make it safer for high speeds.but I would definitely get ride of the crappy front wheels and put some go cart wheels on the front and get ride of them plastic bushings. Because you don't want to loose a front wheel at any speed.

In my yard, aboot 10' from in my shed, is the same early-mid 90s mtd yard etc. variable speed two belt tractor, stock and no deck, 15.5 b&s ohv. plan: it's getting a square tube and angle iron braced frame add-on lift, wheelbase stretch, and using a 1" straight keyed axle on flange bearings to lock the rear; with sprockets driving chains from the stock fnr trans to the lift axle. We can vary the output rate without overdriving the belts or transmission, and lock the drive without welding or disassembling and modifying the trans.. need a good drill/press and vise to make mounts to position the keyed axle anywhere it suits the build. I recommend this if any of you have the resources to finish and test it before I do! Stock belt lengths are 5/8 x 52.5" engine to cvt and 48" for the rear. Love the steering mods and unintended lockup 😅

Not the drain oil with acid and toxic chemicals that are in them. Science is amazing and u can learn all about how not to be dumb and pollute my drinking water well and give me cancer. Also ur frame is in a little bit better shape(less rust in some spots).How much wiring did you have to do?(I had to pretty much rewire mine without safety switches and other electrical crap).

super simple wiring just push start kill switch and led bar so i just have 6 wires running along the frame

yeah so in order to go foward i put it in reverse haha its a 3 speed transmission foward neutral reverse so im not loosing any speed

Dont you know the correct way to dispose of old burnt oil is to dig a hole and throw lime rocks or any absorbant rock into the hole then cover it up.? The rock absorbs the oil.

Do the pulley swap on the transmission for my tractor and ill give you a complete mtd 12hp tractor with welded diff . Needs an idler pulley for the rear drive belt. Im in dorval if youre in the area

cost me around 150$ total i simply swaped the pulleys for a faster gear ratio and i lowered the rear transaxle ! and thats it haha oh i also put a foot throttle and a full lenght exhaust

i got the mower for free and pretty much already had everything at home to build this ! only things i needed to buy is belts and pulleys cost me around 60$ and i have a push start button u get one side to the constant power side of the selenoid and the other side you ground somewhere on the frame
