Wow these guys are incredible. Some fellow Florida boys too I recently found out. They got it all perfect in this song and after repeat listens since this recording I can tell you that some speakers are not even coming close to being able to put out that bass that's going on in this. You need to be listening to these guys with good headphones or some subwoofers to hear it properly =,D
We will definitely be listening to more Voiceplay as the toddler gives us free time. I now have that Skyrim twitch starting up again...

Welcome to the world of VoicePlay. They are sometimes called the theatre kids of a capella as often they like to go the whole hog , dressing up and acting out the songs. And that's on top of being outstanding singers. This is one of my many facvourites they've done. Their lates, Valhalla Calls, is incredible. The bass, Geoff Castellucci, has his own channel of low bass covers which are equally sensational. He creates his own backing group by "cloning" himself to sing all the parts of the harmonies he creates.

oh yeah, good speakers/headphones are a must when it comes to a cappella, and especially if they have a good bass singer! 3 of the 5 people in this video are gamers and skyrim fans 🙂

I'm not a gamer, had never heard ot the game or the song before. It didn't matter because Voiceplay is genius in their vocals, production, set, costumes, makeup, story board, whatever. They are independent, no label, no manager, so they have complete artistic control. They've had offers but prefer to remain independent. It has been so much fun to watch gamers watch this. I saw one the other day who created a Geoff avatar (?) and he's been playing Skyrim with Geoff (the bass) for the last week. They did the Halo theme. Halo and the composer both commented on their cover. If you react to it, please, please, please watch the outro. It explains why the game has been so important to them and why they decided to do the cover. You will learn more about them as people from that. They just dropped Valhalla Calling (Assassins Creed) last week. And they did Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. Choose anything from their catalogue, you will be impressed, I promise. Subscribed in anticipation of more Voiceplay!

You should listen to their cover of the HALO theme. Their newest one is "Valhalla Calling" as (Vikings)and "My Mother Told me". As Pirates "Hoist the Colors" from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Thank you for a great reaction to Voice Play. If you like gaming than please, you must do a reaction video of Voice Plays cover ( Halo ) The theme song from the Halo video game. The composer of the music was totally amazed by Voice Plays cover. He said it was the best cover he ever heard. At the end Scott Porter pays homage to the game & a fallen member of their team. As with all Voice Play covers wait till the credits stop rolling before you stop end the video. Sometimes they have a slight black out near the end for an upcoming affect.

Only 2 minutes in and I am so glad I didn't skip the intro portion! Two avid fans of the game, who know and love not only the song but various covers of it, who have not yet heard VoicePlay? What a treat for a fan of reaction videos like myself! I can't wait to see how much they love it! You should totally check out my mother told me, and hoist the colors. The bass singer does solo work as well. Over the misty mountains cold, reigns of castamere, ghost riders in the sky is highly recommended. And they just dropped several for 2023. Nothing else matters, in my room, and valhalla calling. Check out some of their Disney works too.

At the present time, Voiceplay only has four members. They have been using a group of very talented featured singers to round out the group depending on their needs for a particular song. For this song, they used Omar Cardona who was a recent finalist on "The Voice". ... Guy

You mentioned Peter Hollens. He also has an Epic production of "Misty Mountains" featuring low bass singer Tim Foust from Acapella group Home Free. It's just Peter and Tim , but Peter is a master at layering their voices over 120 times to get a choir effect. This is a cover of the song in the Hobbit movie of LOTR franchise. They get into costumes for this like VoicePlay does. Thanks!

Love to watch reactors discovery VoicePlay! They are my favorite acapella group (and I'm also a die-hard Home Fry). Between their amazing vocals and arrangements, the use of costumes, sets, makeup and lighting, they just are beyond talented and creative. With rare exceptions, they do everything themselves: the vocal arrangements, the costumes, sets, filming and editing, even the lighting.

If you think the bass is strong in this one, you should see their new release, "Valhalla Calling." (From Assassin's Creed). He goes even deeper in that one and spend pretty much the whole song in the sub-basement, lol.

Welcome to Geoff the Bass he a great range if you keep reacting to the as someone he has his Own KZbin to and They also did Halo one to. Nut my first seen VoicePlay my Husband show me the Oogie Boogie Song and I love them lots. The Members at the moment are Cesar, Eli, Layne and Geoff but they had a few other members like Tony, Earl and Jay None who is in the Navy band at the moment but when his on leave he will sing with them. I love all their songs as well Geoff but I love Geoff The Bare Necessities song.

Others have made suggestions. I’m going to point out their dedication to the theatrical. Cesar (who was the 2nd one to sing) is wearing REAL chainmail. It apparently weighed about 20lbs. I have no idea how he was able to breathe well enough to sing.
