These subtitles you're using look like they are "dubtitles" where the English dub's script is used instead of an actual translation from the Japanese. The dub for Grappler Baki had some character name changes (though not until later episodes) and occasional mistranslations, plus a handful of moments where dialogue was completely rewritten, but none of the dub's changes affect the plot or themes of the story too much, and most of the big changes are in grappler baki's second season, which doesn't seem to have the dubtitles problem, so it shouldn't be that much of an issue.

Thank you for the info! I noticed a few inconsistencies while watching. Hopefully, I can get my hands on the official translated version in the future!🙌🏼
