Our First Motocross Race As A Family In Almost A Year! Dade City FL Night Racing

Team TwoTwo headed out to Dade City MX for the first time racing in almost a year! We managed to get a few ‪@MountainMotorsport‬ bikes out in front, pulling holeshots and landing wins- overall it couldn't have been a better time out back on the bikes!

Kiah fits that 85 really well. She has made great strides in her riding and looks comfortable on the bike. Tate is looking good too, almost as fast as Dad. But, yes, he does have to harness the nerves when trying to gain that next place. The desire is there, just a little over anxious to make the move. He'll get better. And Dad looked so much better in the night race. Good to see you back on the bike! Tate - Go back and watch your Dad going through the corners during the evening race. That is how to do corners in the sand... not much brakes and lots of momentum! Great riding all three of you!

I've only been on a motocross track one time to learn how to ride properly. While actually riding went horrible for me, I did learn a ton of stuff that I am still practicing and working on getting better at doing. I can't really imagine myself ever racing, but if I did and I saw Chad Reed lined up, I would be intimidated for sure, but I also know that I would do everything I could to try to keep up. It has to be really special for the locals to get to line up with and race against him. All the kids did amazing and have improved tremendously. Sometimes, taking a break from things we love to do is a good thing. It allows our brains to process everything we have done and learned. It seems to have paid off pretty big for the Reed family. Most importantly, glad to see the family as a whole out there having fun and doing it together!!!

I am so happy to see them as a family, enjoying the sport, and able to finally reap the fruits generated and created from the amazing career Chad had. It’s awesome to see one of my all-time favorites continue to enjoy the sport with his family. I’ve always been a Chad Reed fan but I’m even more so now just to see him do it with his family because he truly wants to and enjoys it. Nothing in this world is more important than family so it makes me happy to see one of my idols from the sport enjoying life with a healthy and happy family at least that’s what it appears to me. I do not know you guys personally but I have had the opportunity to meet you chad at Kenworhtys motocross when you were on a Yamaha 125 that’s how far back it goes and you were very genuine and down to earth I actually still have a poster that you autographed from that national. I am 41 years old and I broke my back at Kenworthy in 2001 on the dirty dozen but have continued to watch the sport and enjoyed watching your career. Much respect from Cincinnati Ohio.

What a sweaty hot, fun day! Riding alone works your asses off, but being mum & dad, 3 racing kids - oh my gosh! Gave me lots of smiles - seeing the kids improvement, and seeing how well they listen & take direction. Remarkable parenting going on here, ya gotta be proud on so many levels. Again - the heat, it’s hard for those not in the area to imagine what it’s been like. But hey, it is Florida & it is summer 😊 Looking forward to next vid!!!

Not gonna lie tate looks so good out there his speed has improved 10 fold you can really see hes starting to nail the fundamentals on the bike. Dude could be a stud in 4-5 years time 💯

Mr. Reed.... I ride with my mouth open as well, always had a mouth full of dirt after every moto or time out for practice. Getting hurt so much from moto, I got into wakeboarding and ended up having a halfway decent career doing that even though I was introduced to dirt bikes at age 3 as my dad raced pro in 74' for Harley Davidson, which is crazy to think they had a dirt bike at one time, the point of me mentioning the wakeboarding is because when they took pics from contests or mags and was in a coupe wake videos/films, but I noticed that I would have my mouth open and my tongue hanging out to the side whenever I was concentrating hard, I guess that's how I concentrate, who knew. I am lucky I never bit it off when I crashed though I do remember one time I did bite it when I hit my knee on my jaw wakeboarding. So take it as a good thing that we wear helmets when racing, can you imagine my goon face with my tongue hanging out the side of my mouth like a dog trying to be fast and all cool like you. At least you made it look good. Good to know there are others like me that ride with there mouth open. LOL I love your family and you are an amazing father, so proud to be your fan, I did not really become you fan till you guys started this channel and I got to see how real and down to earth the Reeds are. Tate looks so much smoother then his competitors and just looks better every time he races. He just needs to keep listening to his world champion father and it won't be long before there's another Reed at the top. Same goes for kiah her riding is looking great.
