I just found you and have been binge watching videos (and subscribed!). Some questions for next Q&A: what suitcases do you have? Do you go out and explore and do things in the cities without filming or only on filming days? What are some good flight attendant stories? What are some tips as a former flight attendant we should know to get best seat, good service, etc. How do you find such cheap rentals to stay in budget - do you stay far out from city center or stay at less nice places? Hey there! Yes, logistics (which is my part of any travel we do)- flights from the western seaboard of south America to Australia seems to be limited to flying from Santiago, Chile only, otherwise it means flying north to the US and the trans Pacific from there (which if you´re on a limited time frame/budget significantly adds cost and time) ( I usually figure this stuff by going to arrivals info at destination airport to see which airlines are flying in and from where) If you know of any other routes from central or south America, any tips would be welcome :)

@@alanwaterworth6464 I never thought about looking at arrivals - good tip! You may already know this, but some flights from places only go once a week or couple times per week or only fly there during busy times of the year (northern hemisphere summer school holidays for example) so if make sure to check arrivals on multiple days of the week and maybe also just run a check on something like kayak to see if day of the week or time of year matters?

Welcome home. Thanks for sharing your travels. Love seeing places we have been and places we want to go to still. Scandinavia is fantastic but expensive if you want to add that to your to do list. What do you do with using your phones and internet and do you just use a normal credit card and or take cash. We have travelled a lot but everything has changed so much since covid. A lot of information on KZbin about phones and stuff is American based not from an Australian point of view.

True! we just pick up a SIM card in each country we go to! it's more effort but works out cheaper than those multi-national E-sims people get! Also, we use cash for the majority of countries and just make sure our bank debit card allows free or cheap withdrawals. for some countries like America that use cards more than cash we load up a qantas money card before we go!
