Saving n searching for reusable material for six months before looking for bus. I told everyone I was looking for reusable stuff. Dumpster diving became a hobby for many yrs now since my first build from the late 80s. I save a spot in my shop for materials for other bus builders I run into.

We also took inspiration from your shower skylight to bump up the roof in our bus bathroom! Yours is WAY nicer than our janky job, but I'm proud of that project! I also just want to say thanks for sharing your struggles. I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one arguing with my husband about dumb stuff for our bus, and not the only one pushing back the timeline over and over again because we've never done this before. Love watching your content! Thanks for being real and making us feel better about where we're at in our bus!

Well this is bad. It was a busy Sunday and I missed that you posted. Hate when that happens!! It's always fun to see a new vid. Q&A was def fun. Didn't realize Adam lives with ADD, but makes sense to me now. That perfection thing is gonna kill you one day. Bus conversion and perfection don't belong together in any stretch of anything, but you're def making it work!! Hopefully building continues to move forward and more has gotten done since recording this. Always great to see how progress is going. Skooliepalooza is a good goal. You realize you could still come down and get some help working on some stuff while you're there. It's still 13 days away, that's plenty of time to get yourselves down here to the desert. Just sayin... Also.....Happy New Year!!

@@UsPlusaBus I (steph) think Adam speaks so well.. he’s very educational and full of knowledge. He’s great at teaching but feels like he has a hard time fluffing things up on camera for KZbin.. which he thinks I am better at. His adhd is a blessing and I wouldn’t have him any other way. It’s just another thing we have to work through as a couple working together on this big project! I’m glad you’ve found our answers relatable. And thanks for sharing!

@@AdamandAtlas basically, we did a horrible job weatherproofing our door and the water damage got really bad 😭 it was starting to crack and had expanded so much we could barely open/close it.

Ahhh I know! Anytime we don’t work on it we feel so guilty!! Like it’s wasted time!! But we all deserve time to breathe and relax too… the timing will always be right, fate always has its way! Don’t try to force anything! Proud of you😀

@@PainiacZ yes, we are getting closer and closer every day. Sometimes we see the light at the end of the tunnel but some days it’s very dim. Looking forward to a finished bus one of these days for sure!
