8:52 I could definitely see that! At the beginning of Spring this year, I was driving with my mom and all of a sudden I just noticed all of the trees and the grass and the fact that they were no longer dead and brown and I totally interrupted my mom like "Mom! Mom! It's greeeeen!!!" I was so incredibly happy and my mom was just sitting there laughing at me, lol :)

One of my first experiences of palms springs was warm rain! I am an Oregon girl so I remember running out and dancing in the rain with bare feet. My sister used to live in yucca valley which is just outside of Palm Springs I believe. My sister hated living in the desert because she thought it was ugly, but I enjoyed it when I was visiting. Idk, maybe being there for an extended period would have changed my mind. Where she was at it was crazy because out one window you could see all these desert mountains, and then if you went to the other side of the house you could see snow capped mountains covered in trees.

Omg that's so crazy I was raised in yucca valley which is super near Palm springs. I literally grew up going to Palm springs all the time because my dad use to work there too!!. I also remember driving to Julian to buy pie lol! This was so refreshing to see really reminded me of my childhood 😍😍

Ugh. I am w/ your Cari. I went to Palm Springs last year (July 2019). I drove from Palm Springs out to LA to meet a friend AND back to Palm Springs all in the same day. It is a brutal drive! I did the Aerial Tram when I visited. Definitely an experience you and Kurt should have next time you visit :-)

I love Julian, that’s where me and my family go to see snow lol but we usually buy pie at moms, only when we don’t go on weekends cause the line can get crazy. And that road to Julian it’s the worst when you are in the driver seat, the trees are beautiful tho

The heat could be the same temperature-wise but palm springs has zeeeero humidity. Its crazy dry! In seoul its the rainy season during summer so its constant wet and raining hahah i prefer dry heat!!!

Palm Springs is a favorite place of mine and it completely boggles my little lake girl's mind with its intense desert ness. I just don't get it, it's so hot! And there's so much life but no water?! I want to go back and be confused again soon.

For the 12 year old definitely the trails rides at smoke tree stables! theres also wet n wild water park (with a lazy river) and if youre not a fan of mexican food, my parents and i always go to upper crust pizza😍 all the canyon trails are amazing and the aerial tram is so cool!
