Blackpink songs are mostly a mix of rapping and singing parts, this is the usual kpop song composition. Tho, all of their songs always comes with a badass beats, rap bars with crazy flow and delivery, and a dark and strong concept. But if you like a full rap song from them, I highly recommend “shutdown”. When it comes to solo, Lisa is so far the one who loves releasing a full rap song, such as “rockstar” and “money”

I would say don’t judge bts by the sounds of their mainstream music. They have music that sounds completely different. I personally don’t enjoy their mainstream music. But BTS rappers are phenomenal. Maybe if you started with the rap line you could enjoy it more. I recommend ddaeng or Outro: tear.

Love the vibe of you guys! Thanks for checking BP out! Most songs have Rosie and Jisoo (the other singing member, pronounced G-Sue) as the singers and Jennie and Lisa as the rappers. Jennie (the one who started the song and raps the second part of the second verse) also sings a in a lot of songs, Lisa sings sometimes too and Jisoo raps once or twice. If you guys keep checking out Blackpink songs, there's just one piece of advice I'll give you; be honest but polite. It's all good if you don't vibe with a song (bc they cover a wide array of sounds), feel free to let us know that a specific song isn't really your style. Just don't rip on a member or the song by calling it trash or being rude about it. Blinks (blackpink name for fans) are a great group of people who will always show up to support a reaction to our girls but some of us can get downright hostile if a reactor is seen as being rude.

Didn't want to attach this to the other comment and make it huge and random, but here's some info! Rosie is New Zealand-Korean, raised in Australia. If you listen to her talk, the Aussie is strong lol. Jennie is Korean but studied in New Zealand, so her English accent has a lot of that influence in it. Jisoo is the most straightforward Korean and, while her English has improved massively, is the least fluent. Lisa is Thai so she speaks Thai, Korean, and English For future songs to check out: Boombayah is their debut from 2016. Has some rap in it but is moreso a club banger As if it's your last is their cute side How You Like That is *probably* their most popular song. If you were on tiktok a couple years ago, I'd be surprised if you never heard the chorus All the members also have solo songs A lot to check out!
