Most K-pop groups only have certain lines in English, the rest is in Korean. XG as a global girl group is a different beast, as they are singing exclusively in English on their title tracks.

Seems like you are enjoying the YG Family. Once you finish your Blackpink dive, you can jump to their: older sister 2NE1, older brothers BigBang, younger brother Treasure, and (my personal favorite) younger sisters Babymonster. There's more great bands in the YG family as well like Ikon, Akmu, etc. Babymonster is part of the new 5th Generation KPop, so they are the newest out of YG right now and have only been around a year now. Their official debut was only back on April 1st 2024, but there is some releases before that, but now considered pre-debut because one of the members was on medical hiatus. If you start with Babymonsters begining by watching the Next Movement on YG's channel from last year, you can also see the member introduction black and white videos. Then from there you can get into the main channel content with the intro videos and character playlists and also include their 8 episode "survival" show "Last Evaluation". Jisoo is the visual of the group. She is Korean. Jennie is Korean but lived in New Zealand for 5 years. Rosé is Korean but was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia. Lisa is Thai, she was born and raised in Thailand before moving to Korea to pursue music. Lisa, Jennie and Rosé are all fluent in English. I would also encourage you to watch Lisa's solo stuff too, I think you'll like it! They're all technically excellent, there's actually a dance performance video of them critiqued by a dancer, and she was impressed. You juxapose this against their debut, "Macaroni and Cheese" which is about macaroni and cheese. You see them in studio shows and it looks like they're having a great time. Don't know if they're ever going to get big big, but I'll bet you a lot of idols like them and they've got the chops to go big if they ever get a song like "Drip," which I betcha they could pull off as well. I've lost count at 10 "Uauuuuu"😁.... I'm really glad u like them. They were my introduction into kpop 2-3 y ago & they are still in my TOP 3of all time bands, of any genre, besides Nightwish (my teenage years symphonic metal obsession) & XG. Also, regarding the quality of their m/v's, let me offer a little info: -They're the most expensive m/v's in the kpop industry & probably some of the most expensive in the whole world. For ex: "Pink Venom" was between 500.000-1.000.000 $ (it's only a rough estimate, probably leaning towards 1.00.000 or more). The reason why they are so expensive (besides the crazy quality of the filming gear & the professionals behind all the editing & producing the videos) are the sets (they use an incomparable amount of sets), the clothes they wear (all are thousands of dollars or ten of thousands of $) & most importantly, they almost NEVER USE CGI or GREEN WALLS. All their sets are built specifically for the m/v, hence the crazy amount of money spent. Also, if I may add, each of the girls are either brand ambassadors, or GLOBAL ambassadors of the most famous & exclusive brands in the world: At the time of "Pink Venom" filming, Jennie was the global ambassador of Channel ( if u noticed the part in the beginning of "Pink venom", where she said "waving the Coco" (a shoutout to Biggie's verse :"waving the 44") & in the small cage she was dangling, she had a Channel jewelry). Jisoo (the 1 u asked who is she - the gorgeous 1, not that the others are not also stunningly beautiful) is the GLOBAL AMBASSADOR (yup, the top of the top, la creme de la creme 😅) of DIOR, Rose is for YSL & Lisa, BVLGARI, MAC, CELINE (I don't know if it's still is for Celine, but at the date of the m/v she was - she even had a bar, in the m/v: "And I'm still in Celine"). Besides these ones, they represent many more brands like: Tiffany, Hera, Samsung, Calvin Klein, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger etc. Simply put, they are the MEGASTARS of all Girl groups around the world (doesn't matter if it's kpop or not, or if u like/dislike their music), THE BEST OF THE BEST (the most subscribed girl group on IT & YT, most streamed , with around 37 billion views , breaking several Guiness World records. And to think they';re not even 30 y old....

blackpink's songs are top notch and their mvs are just ridiculous, they never use green screen, they get all those crazy sets built, which is why it looks so expensive: it is! you reacted to jennie and rosè, but lisa (the other girl that raps) and jisoo (the one you said was beautiful) also have solo songs (lisa: rockstar, new woman feat rosalia, moonlit floor, money. jisoo: flower, all eyes on me, in case you want to check them out). the girls have just recently left their agency for their solo endeavours and opened their own labels, which is why they've been releasing so much music. this year they're focusing on their solo but next year their label (as a group they're still signed all together under the korean company YG) has already announced a blackpink comeback and world tour, so hope you'll keep checking them out, both the group and all the girls! :)
