The Actor Jeff Conaway who played Kenickie in the film played Danny Zuko in the stage version and if you can't say anything positive about the reaction video why bother saying anything at all. just give a thumbs down if you don't like it or maybe offer some suggestion on how they can improve their channel.

K..gunna school u guys on Grease..it was originally a Play..other then the carnival at the end..the movie was filmed at my high school Venice high..Venice California 90291! At the Venice high bicentennial we had a HUGE party at Venice high..the car from Grease lightning was there..we had a Huge parade and that day we got in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most skateboarders in a venue..Skateboarding from Venice beach up VENICE BLVD. to Venice high!! Every summer on the field we have a Sing-along..to the movie 'Grease' is played on a Blow up drive-in screen..i had this 8 track when i was a kid..a 8 track was a giant rectangle type of cassette..before cassettes...Grease is about a goody girl and a Greaser boy (two opposites) fall in love..so the song you just watched was at the end were she dresses like a greaser chick to surprise and keep his attention and then he had lettered in track to surprise her!!..The T-Birds was the boys gang and the Pink ladies was the girls gang...my daughter had a grease bday party where the kids dressed like the characters from the movie..i cant believe it! You guys gotta watch the movie..soo cool..Every girl my age knows ALL the songs! Try the song 'Grease lightning'...a handful of movies were filmed at Venice high along w music video's....Venice high school Gondoliers!! Go GONDOS!!! ...Im Class of 91'....Love from L.A.✌😎

Olivia Newton John is a pop superstar from the 70s-80s. "Let's Get Physical, "Xanadu," "You Have to Believe We are Magic," and many others. Love her! And John Travolta starred in the movie "Saturday Night Fever," which featured the incredibly successful Bee-Gees sound track, some of which the Twins have reacted to already. Barry Gibb of The Bee Gees wrote the title track for the film, performed by Frankie Valli. The movie soundtrack is also somewhere near the top of the list of biggest selling soundtrack of all time. The movie came out in the late 70s and a Olivia was mostly known as a country singer and Travolta was known from Welcome Back, Kotter. A couple of years after this film Olivia released her Physical album, which was her transition to pop music. The title song, Physical, was the biggest song of the 1980s.

I have seen this movie over 25 times it's my all time favorite. This is John Travolta as Danny and Olivia Newton John as Sandy. This is one of his first break out movies. He was in Saturday night fever were the Bee Gees sang some of the songs you have reviewed. Also Olivia Newton John is a accomplishment singer who is playing the character Sandy. The story is about a guy who met a girl in the summer at a beach She was visiting from Australia, but her family end up staying in America. He sees her at school and was happy to see her. But his friends didn't like it so he started acting like a jerk. So she ignored him the whole school year. This is the end of the movie we're she changed her goodie to shoes image. And him trying to be a athlete to please her. Very good movie.

This was a great choice! Grease was a musical on Broadway then they adapted it into a movie. It was an incredibly massive success. To this day the soundtrack still sells. It was done in 1978 but the movie is set in the 1950s. When the movie was made, John Travolta was becoming a huge movie star. Olivia Newton-John was a successful singer in country/pop music. The screenwriters actually modified the character that Olivia played to accommodate her Australian accent. The success of Grease is hard to put into words. You can find news clips from the movie's release on Hollywood Blvd and see just how popular it was. It was even re-released in theaters 20 years later and grossed millions of dollars! You should check out the music of Olivia Newton-John. She has had quite a diverse career with different styles of music from country to pop to rock to new age. She's also an incredibly kind and down-to-earth person who's done so much for cancer research and the environment. Thanks for checking out this song. Huge Summer hit movie of 1978 set in the 50's. Also had a hit soundtrack and 50's sounding songs that hit the charts during the era of Disco. A collection of young actors who most of them would later go on to bigger roles: Olivia Newton-John (Recording artist) and actor (Saturday Night Fever) John Travolta. Grease also included respected classic actors of tv and movies of the 50's-60's. And my favorite movie since I was 8 - Yes! I saw Grease in 100 times. It was the biggest hit as all time. You boys should watch it. You all will be enjoying it and watch all over again. Trust me, you guys would be glad that you did. Olivia Newton-John was the most singer at all time. It almost like Olivia was almost reach to top of Michael Jackson. She did met him in person. She was adored him and he was like “ Dang! Olivia. The guy singing is the same guy who’s in pulp fiction who does the dance with uma Thurman. He is a big time actor and this movie is just one of very many successful films he’s been in. But people still to this day ask him to preform songs and moves from grease. Grease was also a play being preformed way before this movie was made. The guy singing was actually in the play playing a different character before the movie was made.

Fred's right, Grease was a movie - starring John Travolta (as Danny) and Olivia Newton-John (as Sandy) who develop an attraction to each other, but think they won't see each other again. The movie came out in 1978, and was a huge success. Now, I thought the term "Grease" was to do with the amount of slop on the guys hair, that heavy slicked down, gelled look BUT Wikipedia says otherwise and I copy it here for you: "Greasers are a youth subculture that was popularized in the 1950s to 1960s by predominantly working class and lower class teenagers and young adults in the United States. Grease was originally a musical play set in Chicago at Taft high school. It premiered at Kingston Mines - a still popular Chicago Blues Club. And you are right Olivia’s curly hair as Sandy does look 80’s. John Travolta was just 24 when he made this movie! The other dope song from the film is Grease Lightening! Check it out.

When my son was in middle school I offered him and his heavy metal band mates $100 each if they would reenact the scene/song from Grease, called Grease Lighting. They wouldn't do it. It's so amazingly cheeseball and awesome.

Greasers in the 50s is similar to 70s punk. Not much different than 80s metal heads. And it all stems from the same place... Southern blues and a little jazz. I have a whole collection, and wrote a college paper on this topic. The 'be yourself' and 'my generation' stuff all stems from way back. Grease is the word... The bird is the word... Word up...
