As several others have pointed out this is for a Japanese album which focuses more on their vocals but if you want to see their insanely good dancing try ON - Kinetic Manifesto version, Black Swan or even their earlier works such as Danger or Boy In Luv. CCs make the difference and they have A LOT of different genres blended together which sets them apart and will constantly try to grow musically as artists.

@@Telvinjacob yes please turn on the substitles because most of their songs have deep lyrics and then you can understand what the song is about And some of their songs even have special videos that explain the MV and the lyrics because the korean culture, references that we don't always get, what it's refering too, a hidden meaning... Per example this song is about staying positive and remembering good moments (when they are all together with all the lights) when you feel alone and lost, to keep going with life. At the end, they are entering together a sort of paradise full of purple flowers (that color means a lot to us ARMY since our beloved Kim Taehyung - stage name : V - once said "Purple means I will trust and love you for a long time" so now we don't really say I love you but "I purple you" instead) So in the end, BTS is kind of thanking us I think for supporting them. I didn't resarch explanations for that song yet so this is only my theories ; I apologise if it's not really clear or turn out not to be true. Anyway, I loved your reaction, keep going !!!

Hey, thanks for giving BTS a try. They don’t really have a certain genre of music and every song sounds different (idk how they do it). I’d recommend watching “Mic Drop” which is more your style of music and “DNA” which now has 1B views. There’s are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists so it’ll take you a while to recognise each one but don’t worry bc we’ve all been through it! They all do solo music btw and one of the rappers released an album recently so you should check out the title track for it “daechwita” which is 🔥

Hi, some things about this boys. *Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop. Kpop is just a label to say that everything that comes out of Korea is that (false) bts is not considered kpop because of its great repertoire of genres and that it does not follow the same line of the kpop industry. 1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers 2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc 3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Jung. 4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble. 5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song. **Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals

love this! subscribing :)) ‘stay gold’ is (if you weren’t already aware) actually in Japanese, not korean :) the members are all pretty good at japanese, some (if not all) fluent. bts has a pretty wide discography, including rap, r&b, pop, etc. some recs: r&b: 134340, rain, i like it, tomorrow, etc. v (taehyung) also has two solo songs (in the albums), called stigma and singularity, respectively. he has that neo soul/r&b vibe, as do some of his songs (and his taste in music), and his voice fits the genre (deep and soulful). rap: there’s actually a rap line in bts (rm/namjoon, suga/yoongi, j-hope/hoseok) and a vocal line (jin/seokjin, jimin, v/taehyung, jungkook). they have released numerous songs featuring each line separately, and some songs performed by the rap line are DDAENG, the four cyphers, UGH!, and respect. all seven members also have a host of solo songs spread throughout their albums, as well as songs they’ve written/produced under a separate/their own name. the three rappers have released their own mixtapes (primarily rap), and yoongi/suga recently released a new mixtape called D-2, and an MV for the song daechwita (대취타)! i highly recommend all of their mixtapes :)) the rap line is pretty iconic and they’re the main producers/writers/composers of the music, although all seven contribute and produce! bts was originally supposed to be a hip hop group and their early discography contained a lot of rap, so definitely check that out. we are bulletproof, pt. 2, paldogangsan, and again, THE CYPHERS are some songs. more mainstream songs: fake love, mic drop (ft. Steve Aoki, desiigner), idol (ft. nicki minaj), DNA, blood sweat & tears, boy with luv, i need u, run, danger, fire/burning up others: where you from, trivia: seesaw, butterfly, pied piper, dimple, airplane pt. 2, ma city, baepsae/silver spoon, converse high, house of cards

This was actually a song from their latest Japanese album btw 😊These boys are so talented and I hope you react to them more in the future! They are a 7 member band from South Korea under Big hit Entertainment that debut in 2013, they have 3 Rappers (RM, Jhope, Suga) and 4 vocalists (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) All of the members are multi-talented and help compose, write and produce all their music. They also contribute to the choreography as members like Jhope and Jimin came from a dance background before becoming part of BTS. The members in age order: (Keep in mind that in South Korea they write their last names first) Jin (Kim Seokjin): Jin is the oldest member and part of the vocal line, he is an amazing singer even though he had no background or training in singing previous to joining BTS. This man is seriously funny and loves his dad jokes! He cares about his members so much and one of the ways this can be seen is through the fact that he cooks for the younger members, in fact him and Suga are the best cooks of the group. People used to say that Jin was a bad dancer but I just think the the people who said that were just blind to talent, he’s grown so much as a dancer, singer and as a person over the last 7 years! Solo Jin songs I recommend: Awake, Epiphany, Moon Suga (Min Yoongi): (Suga is pronounced like the word sugar but without the r) Suga is one of the 3 Rappers and was actually a part of the underground rap scene before becoming a trainee at BigHit and later joining BTS. This man is so freaking talented I swear, he can play instruments (mostly piano), sing (yes he’s a rapper but I die for his vocals aswell), rap faster than my grades drop (which is fast btw), dance (his dancing is so underrated), produce, write and compose songs, play basketball 🏀 really well, and many other things! This man may seem cold and grumpy towards all the members but he is a total softy especially towards the maknae(youngest) members, he’s a big goofball and loves to be silly with the other members, he just gets so tired sometimes because he stays up all night making songs for the group and other Kpop idols as he is also a well known producer 😊 Suga also has 2 mixtapes that he has released on soundcloud under the name Agust D (sugA backwards and DT for Daegu Town which is both where he’s from and the name of the underground rap group he was a part of befor BTS). His 2 mixtapes are called Agust D and D-2 (D-2 is the most recent one). Suga solo songs I recommend: Seesaw, Agust D, The Last, Daechwita Jhope ( Jung Hoeseok): Jhope is one of the rappers and also has a mixtape he released called “Hopeworld”! Jhope is one of the best dancers in the group and is part of the dance line (Jhope, Jimin, Jungkook, V), he used to be a part of a dance group called neuron (I hope that’s spelt right) before joining BTS and because of that was already somewhat famous in his home town. Jhope is a ball of energy and fun which is why we call him our sunshine ☀️. Jhope actually didn’t know how to rap before becoming a part of BTS and so was taught by RM, Suga and himself, he is an amazing rapper and has really grown as one over the years. This man is freaking hilarious and never fails to make me laugh so hard I can’t breathe 😂 he just has a natural talent of making people smile! Jhope is actually also a sub-vocalist for the group and often does some of the hidden vocals in BTS’ songs because this man can freaking sing! Jhope solo songs I recommend: MAMA, Chicken noodle soup, Daydream, Piece of peace (P.O.P), Just Dance RM (Kim Namjoon): RM is the Leader of BTS and is also a rapper. RM used to go by the name Rap Monster but changed his stage name to RM which stands for ‘real me’. RM was famous in the underground rap scene before BTS so much so that Suga and Jungkook knew about him before they joined him at BigHit. RM has an IQ of 148 which shows both in his lyrics and in the speeches he gives. RM has even spoken at the UN before! RM also has 2 mixtapes out! RM is an amazing lyricist, composer and producer, he has produced and written a majority of BTS’s songs on each album. RM is also fluent in English which he completely self learned by watching ‘Friends’, because of this he often takes the lead in English interviews, however the other members are learning English aswell. Solo RM song I recommend: forever rain, moonchild, Seoul, Trivia: Love Jimin ( Park Jimin): Jimin is a Vocalist and main dancer for BTS. Jimin has a background in contemporary dance as well as other dance styles, he was the top student at his arts school where he learned contemporary, he was so good in fact that his instructor paid for his tuition for him. Jimin is known to be the shortest member in the group and the other members like to tease him for it even yoongi who is like only 1cm taller than him 😂 Jimin has amazing emotional awareness and the other members have often said that Jimin is the best at listening to their concerns, he’s not so great when it comes to himself though as he is very hard on himself (a perfectionist) and has said before that he doesn’t really share his concerns with others, he has however stated recently that he’s gotten better at this. Jimin is a whole cutie and literally has natural cuteness, however, do not be fooled this man is a sliverin through and through! He can be so petty and it honestly so funny especially when he’s backing with the members (mostly yoongi). This man also radiates sexiness on stage. He is also a black belt in taekwondo and has had like 8 years training in Kendo, he also knows other martial arts! Jimin solo songs I recommend: Lie, promise, Filter, serendipity V (Kim Taehyung): V is a vocalist and dancer for BTS. This man has a soulfully deep voice! He loves fashion (he’s our Gucci king), Art and photography and even posts his photos on twitter with #vantae. He also knows how to play the saxophone 🎷! V can either be one of the most hyper members or one of the most quiet depending on the day. He is also a total sweetheart and came up with the saying “I purple you” as the colour purple has a special meaning to him and it now has a special meaning to both BTS and ARMY (BTS’s fans). V has also acted in a historical K-drama called Hwarang which you can watch on Netflix btw 😊. Solo V songs I recommend: Winter bear, Singularity, Stigma, Scenery Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook): JK is a vocalists and dancer + sub rapper for BTS! THIS MAN IS GOOD AT EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! JK can sing, rap, dance, do anything athletic, cook, draw, is a top teir gamer, has produced songs, is really good at English (probably the 2nd best at it behind RM), and has mini film vlogs which he labels G.C.F’s (Gloden Closet Films). These are named after both his studio (Golden Closet) and his nickname given to him by RM “ Golden Maknae” (Golden youngest). He’s called the Golden Maknae because he’s good at everything! JK has the voice of an angel and is usually the most stable when singing and dancing at the same time. What i like about bts unlike other kpop groups/any other artists is that Bts' songs doesn't talk about love for a girl and partying not like other groups. As you can see in all their intro there is a bighit logo and below that is "music and artist for healing". All of their songs have a very serious message behind it and it talks about mental health like social anxiety and depressions, importance of self love, youths, woman empowerment, positivity, facing temptations, struggles, "their friendship", haters and some of their songs are dedicated to their fans like PIED PIPER, MAGIC SHOP, BUTTERFLY which have caused many armys to shed tears. They also write tribute songs like SPRING DAY. They engrain these messages in lyrics that contain a great deal of empathy, honesty and independence. Although there are some songs that has "girl" in the lyrics and some of their songs feels like it talks about relationship between a boy and a girl but it doesn't mean they talk about a "girl" or relationship between a boy and a girl.. "Girl" can be refered to their fans/people... Regarding the meaning of the song, In an interview, Taehyung said that EVEN IF NOTHING GOES RIGHT, YOU SHOULD NEVER LOSE YOUR SHINE, words that were supported by J-Hope , who living up to his nickname, asked ARMY that it will not stop shining. That's what makes bts so unique unlike other artist who wrotes songs about partying all day and night, relationships, drugs, breaking up, etc. is that they make songs to comfort and inspire millions of people all around the world💜 I hope you will look deeply into the message of all of their songs if you will react to bts💜

Now, since you wanted to know a bit about BTS: BTS (Beyond The Scene) is a south korean music group that debuted in 2013. Their Korean name is 'Bangtan Boys' which stands for "Bulletproof Boy Scouts". They are seven (7) in number consisting of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Rappers of the group are : RM (real name - Kim Namjoon), SUGA/AGUST D (real name - Min Yoongi) and J-HOPE (real name - Jung Hoseok) Vocalists: JIMIN (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung), JIN (Kim Seokjin) and JUNGKOOK (Jeon Jungkook) Even though all of them can dance well, the main dancer is J-HOPE. He was a street dancer when he was younger, before he joined bts. J-HOPE, along with JUNGKOOK AND JIMIN (who was a contemporary dancer before he joined the group) makes the "dance line". V was also made a part of the dance line after his 2018 solo 'Singularity' in which he showed great dancing skills. Two of the rappers were underground rappers before they joined BTS. BTS originally debuted as a Hip-Hop group. Even though there isn't much traditional rapping in this particular song that you reacted to, BTS's songs (especially their older songs) are very heavily hip-hop influenced. The members do produce, write and compose their own music most of the time. Their lyrics mostly talk about mental health and social issues. Their lyrics are introspective and personal. BTS are a South Korean group of 7. Formed out of 2 underground rappers, a street dancer turned rapper, a boy with a passion for music, an actor, a farmers son, and finally a top contemporary arts student. they debuted in 2013 as a hip hop group, but later they changed the concept to an idol group. (idol- term for a kpop artist) What sets them apart from the kpop industry is that they have a wide range of genres spanning throughout the music career. They have about 7-ish studio albums and 3-ish Japanese albums. (give or take) They're very open about mental issues, self love, and deeper things like that in their songs. The Korean music industry is made up of several entertainment labels. BTS came from a much smaller company compared to other big groups. That's another big reason ARMY love them so much, because they came from very humble beginnings and they still remain, to this day, very humble and greatful for what they have accomplished. From what I can tell, there’s recommendations of videos to get to know BYS. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Their music is hip hop based, although their songs can be under different genres...which means you can find a song for your mood. They do use English worlds in their lyrics. Oh, and turn on the cc to get English translations. If it says “auto generated” when you turn on cc, means there is no translations on that particular video. And yes, BTS are worldwide famous.

BTS was decided to be formed when BangPD found RM in an event of underground rappers, Suga auditioned to BigHit for producer but tricked to be one of bts member( long story) , Jk,Jhope and Jimin auditioned , V accompanied his friend to auditioned but he caught Bighit’s staff and he was asked to auditioned and even the staff asked to V’a parents permission to allow him , Jin was scouted also by bighit’s staff .. then they lived together starting pre-debut until now..

If u like stories in music videos and songs, bts are the perfect artists for that. They have a whole storyline going on since 2015 through many music videos and it is still going on I guess... Also if u read their lyrics, they have really beautiful and powerful meanings. They had a whole love yourself concept with 3 albums, teamed up with unicef to talk up for today's youth and donate a lot of money to different organizations. They also produce many of their songs with the help of their inhouse producers and the next album is going to be a whole self produced and selfmade album by them, even the album photography's.

Oh you guys haven't seen anything yet. As many people said this song is from their newest Japanese album. If you want to see them in action, like dancing and rapping and all that i highly recommend ON kinetic manifesto film (there's also an official music video which is amazing but it doesn't show the full choreography), Mic drop Steve Aoki remix, Not today, Dope, Fire, Fake love. BTS is composed of 4 vocalists (Jungkook, Jimin, V, Jin) and 3 rappers (RM, Suga, Jhope) From the rap line i highly recommend UGH!, Outro tear and the cyphers 1-4 Also i recommend Daechwita from Agust D aka Suga, you guys will go crazy over it. If you'd like to know their background more and why they are so big, i recommend to start with "bts crash course to a worldwide sensation 2020", then "nobodies to legends 2019", and then watch the introduction video "who is bts: the seven members of bangtan". BTS never disappoint, it's almost impossible to not find at least one song you like from them because they have songs in so many different genres.
