Austin was singing to his lady love Amberly who was in the studio, off camera. We think it won’t be too long before he proposes. Home Free performs a trilogy of love songs, the last 2 were written were written by Austin for Amberly. He also wrote the first song in the trilogy but that was before Amberly. Their latest album, Road Sweet Road, has 12 original songs written by Austin or Tim, or Austin and Tim

Austin (lead here) and Adam (beatboxer) killed it! This was during Covid so they weren’t even together. I thought the use of TV’s was excellent. Good reaction!

I always loved the late Percy Sledge's 1966 original (not so much Michael Bolton's cover). I think Mr. Sledge would have approved of Home Free's rendition of his song. Austin is a power tenor and just kills the lead in this song, the harmonies & beatboxing are incomparable. Thanks for playing this & your comments.

Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. Drummers have often commented on just how realistic his sound is. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

It should be noted that this was done during quarantine, which is why everyone but Austin is seen on TV screens. They recorded their parts wherever they were across the US and then the parts were mixed to make this.
