It's our first time snowboarding! A great work out before we ate delicious curry and Japanese BBQ
Initially, we were nervous to go snowboarding but it turned out to be a lot of fun!
Expensive but fun haha recommended!
Note: No need to buy the Kamori pass if you're a beginner! Also, be careful snowboarding/skiing overseas (injuries will hurt your body and your wallet)

One of my favorite episodes!..... I been skiing for 15 years and snowboarding for 6..... skiing is definitely easier to learn than snowboarding but when you get the hang of it snowboarding is more fun imo..... Japan has the driest lightest snow in the world and is one of best places to ski. I wanna go backkkkkkk.

One of the best things to do after skiing or snowboarding is EATING ALL THE FOOD. You don't realise how much energy you use until food is presented and you just gobble every up 😂 Loved your video Chonny and Dalena! Can't wait til I have a chance to travel to Japan too!

The way dalena holds chopsticks is soo weird! i never seen anyone ever do it that way

My grandpa and I both do that. We use the middle and thumb to grab chopsticks rather than pointer and thumb. It isnt the way people are normally taught but works just as well. Actually, I would argue it gives you more food grip strength than the normal way haha.

Snowboarding is honestly so fun! Love the effort you guys put into it! As expensive as they are atleast one lesson is really helpful! Just so you know the basics and then from then on it’s easy enough to teach yourself the rest! I absolutely reckon skiing is easier to learn. I'm the most uncoordinated and unsporty human on the face of the planet and I learned to ski in an hour and was racing down mountains by that afternoon. Give ski's a go next time! Love you guys!❤️🤗

This was EPIC! The drama, the sport, the singing, the food! Not, the chair lift! I hate those! Got trapped on one over a lake for a hour once! Never did it again! Dayum Dalena did fall pretty hard that one time!! I've fallen like that snowboarding many times before. I feel the pain, & with no helmet! For first timers you both did really good! Having a person who knows how to give tips and ride correctly helps out a lot though! First time you its always like that, but every time after it's like you took the training wheels off and is easy breezy lemon squeezy lol. I wish you recorded the clip of that guy falling off the lift! People falling off lifts, and especially the ones japan has would be crazy.

Weebless Thks bro..can eat most types of food now after 6-7 wks since my Jaw surgery it’s was quite an adventure getting treatment in Japan...they had to transfer me to Kutchan Town hospital for a night than to Sapporo to see a Dentist to get partial treatment

This was funny! I think you guys did good actually! I live in MN in the states where it’s winter for like 6 months and went skiing for the first time ever last year. I was awful and skiing is easier! I kept going way too fast and crashing into the sides, it was scary! My fiancé tried snowboarding and fell a lot as well, and got a concussion. So I would say you two did well! I recommend 焼肉キング(yakiniku king) as well. It’s also unlimited Japanese bbq chain restaurant like gyukaku, but I think there is better, cheaper and they have more options for meat and other side dishes! And they’re all delicious 😋 When you visit Japan next time, pls check that out!

Highly recommend an instructor before taking a lift chair. You don’t wanna be stuck up in the mountains. Most mountains don’t allow taking lift chair downwards (you were lucky). Stay in green or even family runs.

omg, those ski lifts are awesome! The ski lift in California keeps going and is very open without any bars. You have to slide off the seat while it's moving. Its really dangerous for beginners. Glad Japan is more accommodating for every level

Rule #1: don’t leave your snowboard on its base. Hehe it will be hard to get it back especially on a steep hill 😂🙈 also you guys did great! Btw it would’ve helped to hold on the your board as you stand hehe. And remember where you put your weight is where the board will go. So if you’re regular (left foot forward), gradually put weight on your left foot to move forward. Put a bit of weight on your back foot if you wanna go slower. 😊
