INFO: To understand this song you need to also understand some of the issues going on back then. This was very early career and underground rappers who crossed over to idols were frowned upon by both underground and idols. When they first debuted (there is a clip in the history documentary of this) there was also a interview where underground rappers along with Suga & RM were there and one rapper compared them to girls because they had to have make up etc done. Now army lynched the rapper for his comments and he is never forgotten by army over the comment. But both RM & Suga released a song for Suga it was "Agusdt" by his rap name Agus DT,, and RM it was a song called Joke. and that was very powerful moment and became what is now the 3 layers of rap within BTS, the group songs with sensored laungauge, the rap line with mild langauge and then you have the solo where they dont sensor at all. Even now I still love the song Joke, his spitting out of lyrics is amazing. the video clips is awesome to although I am not sure you find a music video with english subtitles, there is a lyric video for it though. I just like the music video.......LOL

As a hip-hophead the BTS rap line are easily the best in k-pop and are some of the most skilled rappers I've ever seen in general. Suga reminds me so much of a younger Eminem in terms of raw authentic lyricism, flows, delivery, and life story. I can't wait for you to get more into them whether their group or solo songs, they'll blow you away. I highly recommend the Cyphers pt. 1 -4 next.

Love the symbolism in the imagery. It’s a message to everyone who said “you’re a sellout” or “you’ll never succeed”. In the beginning he’s stuck tied up in a trailer. But then he unties himself, opens the door and you see that the trailer is actually moving. Another great reaction!! AGUST D (the persona) was his outlet for the anger he had in the early days of BTS. SUGA spoke on how he had so much anger back then but now he's over it and moved on and doesn’t feel that anger anymore. It makes me happy to know he was able to express his emotions through his music and vented his anger through AGUST D. I'm glad he's overcome all that and is in a happier place. Love our YoonGi🫶🥰

so glad these reactors are really very kind and open minded, they are also very kind to ARMYs who comment, to be honest I just watched a reaction that I think is very unreasonable, because they react to BTS and just make fun of them and compare them to American singers, kpop is a music industry not a genre and when there are reactors who react to BTS that's where ARMYs always comment sincerely and usually explain some things that the reactor might not understand, when ARMYs say that BTS is not like KPOP what they mean is that BTS has paved the way for other kpop idols and that can be seen from the SUCHWITA show or some BTS documentaries (if you want to go deeper) we have been through a lot over the years from injustice, discrimination, racism but we are happy because they are still fighting with us, and thank you I really love your reactions I'm sure you get a lot of love from us 💜

Same. I was just thinking that all three BTS rappers have such distinct voices for rap specifically -- it's not just about speed of delivery. Jungkook can rap impressively fast but his voice isn't as much of a rap voice (it's too silky smooth, haha -- and therefore perfect as a vocalist instead). It's the timbre of their voices that gives RM, Suga and J-Hope the edge (for rap), the grittiness, the rasp, or the bite -- but they can also go smooth in their flows and it stays interesting (to the ear). That said, all seven members have very distinct voices.
