Lol! Did you know MAMA awards banned lightsticks because of this Anpanman performance? BTS turned this performance into their own concert lmao. The majority of the crowd were army which discouraged lesser known artists. But rebel and mischievous Kim Taehyung 🤣😆... though fully aware of the ban.... 💜💜💜.. asked the fans to proudly shake their army bombs while accepting their FAVORITE MALE ARTIST award during MAMA 2019. Taehyung shouted 'ARMY' while wiggling his hand up to the crowd to bring out their smuggled lightsticks. 🤣Fans gave him a loud cheer.

Please watch it with lyrics and also the explanation video for it. I never get over Kim Namjoon's mind, how does that man come up with such lyrics?? And the meaning of the song reflects perfectly how they felt with their global rise of fame...just 7 ordinary guys becoming the heroes for millions...all they can do for us is give love and a piece of themselves...but that was enough for so many of us ARMY to save our lives and give us strength to move on. Thanks for your reaction. I hate to say this but the camera work was shoddy back then and on the best parts of this choreography they pulled back and showed the audience and that frustrates me a little. However if you want to see them rock this choreography you should watch the official video for Anpanman. This song is one of my jams especially when I first learned of BTS. I just get a little miffed when I watch these older performances and they pan away from their choreography during the best parts. Love your reaction! 💜

Yess agree to that. Prime vid camera work in busan concert really suck. Disney+ done it better with PTD concert. But Weverse done it the best for Bangtan concerts in terms of camera angles and editing 💜👏

There are many different performances they have done for Fake Love but this is one of my favorites. The other is the “booths” where they are imprisoned with rope. Another iconic moment. Even though I’ve seen this performance before, I enjoyed very much with both of you and the appreciation along with fun you show. 🥰

I would recommend watching the dance practice for this fake love performance also…they did put one out. Because the lighting is so dark and sometimes the camera is too far away. It’s such a great choreo. I’ve put the link in the reply. 💜

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. MAMA short for MNet Asian Music Award. Love this stage. They slayed. Both songs are fav's of mine. So catchy. They also performed on this stage Airplane pt. 2 and Idol. Hope u check those out soon. The Fake Love remix was so cool. Loved the dance breaks. So the song changed for this performance. This year their speech u know That speech always gets me teary eyed. That speech was full of tears because Jin decided to talk about their struggle that year and the almost disburdenment of the band. Ouch. It's a sensitive topic for us all. This stage is inocnic for sure. BTS were the 1st ones to use so many backup dancers. Now so many groups do the same. BTS changed a lot of the performances for future generations. =0p Hugs. Stay safe. -NY USA 2019 Army💟 Good reaction(Anpanman), ty. V became part of the dance line in 2018 after his song Singularity. It mentions this in all the guides. They did a more recent Anpanman stage during their Dynamite era. They did a very old song with a special msg during the pandemic. It was really sweet of them. Perfect song choice. Anpanman was broadcast on NBC Today CITI Music series during COVID. Of course it's live vocals. That is 16hrs practice many hrs on treadmill while singing. That builds up ur stamina. They also practice their vocal lessons and breath control is key. I love this song. So catchy. Note: Anpanman is the main character of a Japanese anime, ‘Anpanman.’ In an interview, Jimin said “Anpanman is the weakest hero in the world. Anpanman is a Japanese comic book hero who's face is made out of bread stuffed with bean jam. HE feeds the hungry or those in need with pieces of his face. So the song is saying that BTS is there to be your hero. So I think the Gundam reference ties it to that. The song is iconic with V for starting the song with his rounded yell of "Waiting for you Anpanman!"

I really like the two of you together - so cool. Great insights. But guys after all this time I’m shocked that you don’t know that J-Hope and Jimin are both THE main dancers and that this title is the key one. (In fact, Jimin was announced as d first). I don’t know how you can profess to love and admire them but then ‘diss’ one at the expense of the other. And it’s always Jimin that gets the short end. ‘Dance leader’ is the job J-Hope does best because he likes to perfect the performance of the team and he runs a lot of the practice. Jimin’s corresponding job is to work with choreographers to refine the choreo; adapt performances as they go to different locales/stages; and think of new concepts - all discussed in book and interviews. He also works with members one-on-one, which you can see when he helps Jin, RM, and V. 🤷🏼‍♂️ iDK why it’s so challenging to give members their due, particularly Jimin. Below every nice comment reactors and fans will say “but, but don’t forget this guy! (Fill in name)” but rarely do you see Jimin’s name come up when others are praised. I love all the guys - and Suga and Jimin are my biases- but why is such disrespect and/or ignorance so widespread? I hope you’ll do better because you have skills, and it’s true I do drop reactors that aren’t fair to all. There are so many to watch. Please do better. 💜

I'm actually amazed to see a new reaction to this performance - wonder why reactors never watch this one (or is it all on their Patreons if they have one), seeing as this was a rare Fake Love performance with the special dance break. Highly recommend watching this same performance here kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4vdd6SGe52Cf8U which edits the two main 'broadcasts' (Mnet and BangtanTV) to show the fullest choreo and staging (because why oh why did Mnet cut away from the crescendo of the dance break 🥲).
