Jin is appreciated in Korea for being handsome, Korea has its own standards of beauty and he fits the bill 100%. When BTS started to go to America people commented on how handsome he was and started to pick him out as being very good looking, and jokingly he called himself WWH, it is a joke but very true at the same time. Jin was stunningly good looking when he joined BTS and being the oldest came into maturity first, with passing of years the younger members grew into their good looks and gave Jin a run for his money but to me Jin will always be WWH. All the guys look stunning and sometimes a bit quirky but never being full of themselves, they are all humble and extremely down to earth and generous. Becoming ARMY was the best decision l have ever made. I am 69 years old from Australia.

A few notes for you. RM learned English while watching the TV show "Friends". He is literally a genius. That TV show where he was at the blackboard..his first appearance...he beat out all the other brainiacs who were older than him. And got the answers the fastest and was right on every question.Their individual mixed tapes are awesome. It shows their unique talent. And their drive and ambition to create their own visions while being so very busy with the group work. Mr. Bang, their boss, actually lied to Suga, saying there would be no dancing. Yes, his family supports him. JHope is getting ready to drop "Hope on the Street" where he dances with famous street dancers all over the world. A documentary comes with it. You see. They have all worked on material to give to us each month even while they are in the military. Jin NEVER danced or sang before BTS. They assigned him a vocal coach. At their first meeting, he told her I can't sing. Luckily, she discovered using vocal techniques that he had the most amazing voice. He finally believed her and worked so hard becoming her favorite student ever. Jin would go to dance rehearsals and Not be able to pick up the choreography. He hired a tutor to work with him after hours. Jungkook was 13 when he signed on as a trainee. In Korea, when you are born, you are automatically one year old. He had never danced either. He had no idea his voice was that good. Or that he would become the main vocalist. You never have to apologize for crying. We get it. I promise. You will cry again throughout your journey. And yes, his voice affects our heart, too. But they all have vocal moments that make us cry. I don't know the song he was singing. Ask the group. V just dropped "Fri(end)s. His personal vibe is R&B and jazz. I think you'll love his new solo album with that style, "Layover". And yes, he was at the right time in the right place. He never planned to audition. They found a gem!!

It's not so much that Bang PD lied to SUGA but more that the project changed after he joined and he had to adapt if he wanted to stay part of it (just like Namjoon). He first told him that he wouldn't have to dance and just rap since it would be a hip-hop group. But then it became an idol group. Yoongi says that he lied to him to be funny. He had the opportunity to leave, just like other trainees, but he chose to stay. Both Namjoon and Yoongi said that they didn't want to dance because, as underground rappers, it wasn't considered cool. Currently, he learned to love dancing as well

The BTS story is one of the greatest underdog stories that people outside the fandom dont seem to know. They are humble relatable guys who work so incredibly hard. RM is the leader and the core for sure but also Jhope is the 2nd leader (for stage dance emotional support) and Suga "pushes from behind" and motivates them musically and with ambition, Jin is the dad the oldest and raised 6 teen boys all younger than him into amazing beautiful humans, the 3 youngest have so much talent its hard to comprend how they have been nurtured into the artists they are today and have been since the start all loving and giving credit to the oldest for their help and showing them the way. Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people counted age differently to others... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. The members were only 13-18 years old when they joined BTS and 15-20 yo when they debuted. In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 Jin 1992 - 20 yo Suga 1993- 20 yo Suga started with MIDI at 11 JHope 1994 - 19 yo RM 1994 - 18 yo RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 and signed with BigHit at 16. Jimin 1995 - 17 yo V 1995 - 17 yo JK 1997 - 15 yo he signed with big hit at 13 Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. The Korean Government has recently (June28 last year) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age. 💜Have a great day

Jungkook's Still with You, which made you cry, is a song that Jungkook made with longing for ARMY when their tour was canceled due to the pandemic and they were unable to meet ARMY without a promise. 😭 FYI, there are terms that you may hear a lot when you watch BTS videos. Hyung means an older brother, which is a term used by a man to refer to a close male friend or brother who is older than them, and Dongsaeng means a younger brother and sister, regardless of gender. And Maknae means the youngest, the youngest member of the family or the youngest member of the team in Korean. :) I highly recommend BTS HARDSHIPS 2013-2021 by xCeleste. This video shows why BTS and ARMY have a strong bond and why ARMY is so protective of BTS. Oh, I recommend Suchwita(meaning time to get drunk with Suga), too. Suchwita is a talk show created by Suga to promote the members' solo albums. Now, it's much larger than his initial intention, so he invited a variety of guests other than the members, though. 🤣 Episodes in which the members appeared are ep.1, 7, 9, 12, 14, 15, 18 and 21. :) You can hear the behind-the-scenes stories of the members' solo work in these videos.

Around the 15:00 mark - when it said about Suga "Despite the dancing he was hoping to avoid" and you said "But it's what you signed up for." Well actually he didn't sign up for that. Suga (Yoongi) won second in the hit it rap competition and was originally signed up as a producer. Bang PD (the creator of Big Hit and BTS) convinced him to join BTS as a rapper. BTS was originally supposed to be a rap/hip-hop group but they changed gears part way through and both Suga and RM struggled with the company including the dancing element into the group. So no it was not what he signed up for but he's fine with it now. Mind you he used to do B-Boying when he was younger so it wasn't completely new to him.

@@evantesseract737 What people forget is Yoongi's shoulder accident pre-debut that ripped something (I don't remember what, sorry) in his shoulder. Which means that till fall on 2020 when it was operated he was in constant at least low level pain. He had to get injections before and after concerts for it. That would have taken any fun out of dancing. JK is a lead dancer but J Hope is Dance Leader. For vocals what RM was saying about JK is he basically is to vocals what J Hope is to dance. He’s backtracking most songs with harmonies and adlibs as well as covering if anyone is unavailable, including rappers.
@ruthfischer76157 ай бұрын
They haven't let anyone cover a missing members part in years (at least half their existence): They let the backing track have it. Main > Lead > (no title) > Sub BTS has 2 main dancers. On the original track of "Spring Day" J-Hope has no lines but in performances of the song he takes the first few lines from RM. (maybe J-Hope was sich when they were recording? IDK) Suga originally had another partner for his song "Tony Montana" but he has performed it twice with Jimin and that is the version on their "Proof" album. JK is not the only one doing adlibs, etc.: if I remember correctly J-Hope has done a few, too. (and there is e.g. Adora) Actually quiet a few of the harmonies are done by Jimin in his position as lead vocalist (and damn his solos for claiming he has too little lines - they just don't notice when he harmonieses with the other members). Jungkook is a very good vocalist but not the only one in BTS that can sing. He was on King of Masked Singer for example for a reason. Jin and Jimin are the most comfortable with the high notes and V and JK are happier on the lower ones - which does not mean they can't do the other stuff - it is just a little harder for them.
@mawbast17 ай бұрын
@@ruthfischer7615 I didn’t say all, just like Hobi doesn’t do all the dancing. Yoongi talks about JK doing the guides, even for songs for other members, and the company requesting to stop that JK helps with different singing matters to help other members, as seen by helping Jimin and V. Solos and adlibs, well there’s credits for that and plenty of video RM is the one that talked about his importance as well as Yoongi so they should know. JK might be my bias, I never hide that, but I adore and appreciate all these young men’s talents, having been a musician for many years I always acknowledge talent
@ruthfischer76157 ай бұрын
@@mawbast1 Not my point at all. My point was the missing context. If you formulate like how you did in both responses it makes it seem like the others are less important and JK is the "Justin Timberlake"/the "Beyonce" of the group and the only one you need to pay attention to. JK is great and an essential part of BTS but so are all members: 5% of their success as how Namjoon formulated it. Your response while (mostly) true leaves wrong impressions especially for someone who does not know the context which is why i wrote a response in the first place. How we say things to someone can be very important even if technically we carry the same information. 💜

@@ruthfischer7615 we’ll see I feel you’ve taken me out of context. I said JK is to vocals what Hobi is to dance, how in the world is that insulting to any other member or degrading their talent?
@ruthfischer76157 ай бұрын
@@mawbast1 One: That is not all you wrote. Two: That sounded to me like a connection to the "main" part and Jimin is also main dancer. Because while JK has helped once or twice he does not lead vocal practice the same way Hoseok leads dance practice and changes. I understand your bias: JK is absolutly cool and a grear singer! But the others are great, too, and when you say so much only about one of them - especially superlatives - it can dimish the others: the growth of shadow cast by a big light. I'm *not* accusung you of doing it on purpose - that is what I'm reading between the lines and what I have assumed when I was new to BTS and the fandom.

Still With You by JK was my ring tone for 2 yrs, I love that song. I can't even express in words how that song touches me. Similar to your response when you heard it. Now, when reactors find BTS most recommendations for reactions are to their popular songs and English songs. However, you were responding to JHope's music in this video. My feedback is those songs are very good however, the b sides from the albums are my most favorite. I would also recommend that you react to some of the recommendations that aren't the most popular sometimes. That/those persons are trying to show you other sides of BTS's music than just the popular songs. I am a 61 yrs young Army fan for 6 years and when I first got into them, I deep dived into their discography and found a bunch of gems. I know you can't do that because you are reacting to suggestions. May I recommend that you try doing album reviews once you heard a majority of songs from one album. Thank you for reacting to this. Knowing more about them helps understand their music and ARMY. BTS are brothers, they are family. As you keep diving into their material, you will hear them say it themselves. I personally feel that them choosing to live together unlike other groups, helped them bond even more. After debut, groups are allowed to move out of their dorm and get their own place. BTS chose to stay together and they lived together almost 10 years. In 2020/2021 they officially all had their own place. It is why their connect is a lot deeper. The first 3 years they lived in that one bedroom apartment before moving to a bigger apartment. They have shared so many hardships together as well as the success. They are one tight unit. Jungkook has an album “Golden” that he released before entering the military. The song you like was “Still With You” and it was written by JK for ARMY. 💜 If you enjoy Jazz music, then V has some solo songs for you. He has an album called “Layover” that he released before entering the military but also has other solo songs. He actually just released an all english song called “Fri(end)s” and like always he never fails to surprise us. He did act in a Kdrama and during his solo time he filed in a show with his friend group named WOOGA SQUAD (5 members in total) made up of actors and one rapper. They also have a staycation recorded which gives insight to their friendship. BTS has so much material it’s helping us pass this time as we wait for Jin to come out in June and then J-Hope comes out in October of this year. Everyone else comes back in June of 2025. Oh something else to know. The guys prepared material to drop while they are away. We have a movie of Suga’s Works Tour coming out in theaters (I already bought my tickets, J-Hope has an album dropping and JK did a song with him too. We know that JK & Jimin also recorded some material together of a trip so we are waiting on that too plus RM as well had worked in stuff. Suga has a show where he interviewed other people but he mainly created it for his brothers to go on and promote their solo projects. We learned so much more during these too. It’s called Suchwita and all episodes are on KZbin on the BTS channel. They also have a book, movies and all the behind the scenes videos plus dance practice. Their show RUN BTS is hilarious and of course you learn more about them too. Their staycation “In The Soop” and their trips “Bon Voyage” gives you a deeper look into their relationship as brothers and how down to earth they are. Sorry we can go on and on. I’m linking two more links you might want to check out. Please react to them. It’s worth it. One is a group history on their music and the other is the hardship they went through. Trust me, after watching the hardship one, you will also become protective of them. 💜 Welcome to the purple family. 💜BORAHAE💜 The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS (2023 Update!) kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnzSn358qNh-pK8si=4ZjRGV-q2u3iyttt. So i guess it IS better to learn about them before watching more now that you can relate to a handful of them! :) It's so cool to relate to them and learn their personalities. Allows us to appreciate them more and differently when we see them perform their skills in the videos. Humble guys. Love it.

We enjoyed sharing this with you. There are many beautiful , talented, and unique people on this planet. And these 7 young men are a constant reminder of that. I'm sure like so many of us, you too have seen the ugly side and nature of people. For many of us they are the brothers, uncles, and nephews. We their fans range in age from 5 to 75 we feel a real kinship to these guys from a country and culture we are beginning to learn about. Every country and its culture has good and bad . I always check out the artists they have colabs with, and the boys have encouraged us to. BTS WILL ALWAYS BE OUR #1. BUT TO GIVE THE OTHER INDEPENDENT AND STRUGGLING ARTISTS INCOURAGMENT IS TO EVERY ONES BENEFIT EVEN BTS'S. I FOR SEE YOU REALLY ENJOYING YOURSELF REACTING TO THEM AND THEIR CONTENT. WELCOME. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉😊

BTS's brotherhood extends beyond their exceptional talent; it embodies their genuine connection with ARMYs, fostering a sense of family and unity. Their humility, kindness, and unwavering support for their fans exemplify their status as not just talented artists, but also as genuinely good-hearted individuals. This bond between BTS and ARMYs transcends mere fandom, creating a powerful and uplifting community built on love, respect, and mutual admiration.

Loved how mentioned 'He's just like me!' When I first got to know them, I felt the same. Each one of the members has a part to their personality one just can't help but relate to and love. They taught me that it's okay to be myself and my view of the world has changed because of them. Talking about the songs you liked they were: RM's Seoul (produced by famous duo Honne) and J-Hope's Chicken Noodle Soup. CNS was the first dance he learned when he was young, that's why he always wanted to make a tribute to the song. He paid the original singers millions of USD for the rights to sing his own version of the song and it's a complete bop. The other song was Daydream his solo title track of his first mixtape 'Hope World' published in 2018. He wrote the song Airplane and after that BTS decided to make a part 2, hence Airplane part 2. Where J-hope sings the same verse of the first Airplane. Before he enlisted in the ARMY J-hope also gifted the song Hope on the Street to us ARMY's, featuring his idol J.Cole. My personal favourite songs of J-Hope are called 'Ego', it's his intro to the BTS album 'Map of the Soul: Persona. Plus Arson and Blue Side which I mentioned in another comment.

I think you would absolutely love to watch their reality show, Run BTS. (Not the song Run BTS or the song Run. I mean you'd like those too, probably 😂) Anyway in their show they have adventures and play games and fight like puppies with a bone. You can watch them in any order, more or less, and it's one of the best ways to get to know them as people. They're often hilarious. I often recommend checking out the two-part special "Fly BTS" where they try aerial yoga - it's recent, it's hilarious, and it gives you a good idea of what they're like together. If you enjoy it you can start at the beginning or ask for suggestions. Your reactions are so fun, and you're so engaged, that I just want to watch the episodes again with you 😁 Oh, and Jungkook's voice hit me that way at first too! He was my entry point into BTS, his voice just cuts straight through me. Jungkook is genuinely one of the most skilled singers of his generation. In the world, not just in Korea. Everyone in the group is incredible, and they all have different strengths and complement each other well. Jungkook was my intro, but I fell for them all, and if I have a bias now it's Suga. With a side of Jimin maybe 😂 but they're really just all delightful people.

I'm so glad you did a reaction to this video! Thank you so much! It always helps to get to know them even better. The heart and soul of this group the depth and the genuine extraordinary talent they are precisely the only reason I ever listen to K-pop. I actually saw a V focus of V in Boys With Luv. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was on Instagram. I watched it several times and then decided to look into the whole group. They are amazing. Thank you for taking the time to enjoy the journey with us.
