21:15 to answer your question : why the moneybox is a shape of a pig? because the word for money in korean is '돈 don', and the chinese character '豚' - which means pig - is also pronounced as 'don' in korea. that is why pigs have become a symbol of wealth over there.

“Missing: the other side”, “Tomorrow”, and “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” are some of the best Korean shows! Very beautiful and touching, I couldn’t stop watching missing the other side it was that good.

Hello! Great reaction, btw. You have a variety of reasons listed in your comment section with reference to your "pig" question. I'll just add that pigs are often associated with greed. "Greedy as a pig" is a known expression.

There's this underrated show called Missing: The Other Side. It's about a con artist encounters a supernatural village where spirits of missing persons are stranded until the mystery behind their disappearance is solved. Worth reacting! Lot of tears!

The reason is that the piggy bank that collects coins is made into the shape of a pig in Korea. There's also a belief that pigs can make a lot of money.

Korean movies that I highly recommend are Taekguki: The Brotherhood Of War (the subbed version, not the dubbed version), The Wailing, My Sassy Girl (2001), I Saw The Devil, Memories Of Murder, Assassination, and Joint Security Area.

This is old idk if people still interested watching this show. But korean drama has a huge fan base including kpop fans and others who doesnt even like kpop. Tho i would advice you to make a poll before reacting to a korean movie/ drama. Current ongoing airing kdrama reactions has lots of viewers compared to old stuff, especially squid game; which is kinda not kdrama focused. If you want more viewers i would definitely recommend letting people give you suggestions on kdrama names to react to then pick top five most repetitive ones and make a poll. That would be better than picking most known one on netflix. Note: most people think kdrama is a genre about life, family problems and gossip. But kdrama is a word to describe any korean series/show whether it is action, comedy, romance, piece of life, mystery, crime, etc

No it wasn’t, the creator never said that 😂 I lpve Black Pink but I won’t make up stories shine the spotlight on them. South Korea is known for their emphasis on colourful designs and aesthetics so it’s not a surprise that Squid Game is a representation of the country’s aesthetic.
