I honestly adore how you guys always take the time to test your knowledge at the beginning- and it especially stands out when you do YG groups (at least in my opinion) since its such an insular company and so I really feel like you guys really stand out! This is one of the last major songs with the og 12 members (Bang Yedam and Mashiho left). Rapper verse wise is Haruto, then red-haired Yoshi (who has truly mastered the art of the entrance - same as in I Love You- , and yes, was the one who jumped off the car in KK), followed by Hyun-suk, who also did the part in the first pre-chorus so you were correct (and yes who, despite his badass aura is the incredibly emotional mom of the group)! Some people have whining about how Baemon references previous YG artists saying they’re doing it for relevancy (which is a bit of a silly complaint considering Hyun-suk is one of their lyricists/producers even prior to any pointless hate) but Treasure has always referenced their sunbaes, for example how Yoshi does it here with a reference to a Lisa line. Definitely definitely recommend more Treasure!! Although yes YG is super big on their huge party songs, if you want to see a slower songs, I’d check out Baemon’s Dream (which is STUNNING and has a great MV), or Treasure’s Darari (has a great Dance Practice to the slower, chiller OG and a MV for the rock remix). One of Treasure’s appealing aspects is that they are just super chaotic, fun-loving guys who love each other, and who dont tend to ascribe the typical “controlled idol” mold (to the consternation of those around them), so if you want to get a good understanding of them I’d highly recommend their King Kong It’s Live performance, and I cannot emphasize this enough, their legendary Silence of the Idol episode (as in not just legendary for Teumes, but legendary in terms of the show itself), which is just pure hilarity. Great reaction!!!
