It was so fun having a Thanksgiving vlog on Thanksgiving! Everything looks amazing! Missy, I hate making my own pie crust- I highly recommend using the already made Pillsbury crusts you just roll out yourself.

The pie crust need to be blind baked which means placing some beans or rice in some plastic wrap or parchment paper lining the crust. That way it won't sink down and will hold its shape.

***** I had to pray my way through doing my first turkey. I've grown up hunting and meat doesn't bother me at all, but pulling the turkey NECK out of the body cavity totally got me!!! I've cooked at least 20 turkeys since and I still cringe a little when pulling it out!!! Good job Bryan on your first turkey!!

Sillies... They put the neck in so you can roast it with your turkey and make a super gravy! :) Plus the neck is meat is really tasty! Yummers

The trick with homemade pie crust is to mix as little as possible (adding water very slowly - not too much) so it's flaky, otherwise it'll be tough. For the turkey, we do the Alton Brown method and it's DELICIOUS.
