Not everyone interested gets a shot to participate in robotics. FRC and FTC favors the well resourced and school teams can get selective. All this runs contrary to the very values of the First foundation. VEX is the only platform that levels the playing field and is always accessible--you just have to buy the kit and commit. Please do continue to inspire young people to form their own teams.

I agree. VEX is definitely easier to start than a FIRST team. I am hoping more and more people get inspired to start their own teams.
