I remember when there was a bidding war for that property, Fort McPherson. There were developers from all over the world and wanted that property but Tyler Perry and his team broke it down for the mayor, city council, governor, and State Legislature. Tyler Perry didn't have the highest bid for Fort McPherson but his long-term strategy, meaning jobs generated and the possible tourism that his Studio Plus Pinewood-Atlanta would bring in... the state couldn't resist.

HEY CHUCK!! Culture is formed by collective human experience. Particularly in America, the Black experience has been drastically different than that of other races, therefore the race has evolved its own independent culture from what you would call mainstream American culture. Quite simple to understand, even for someone who isnt black, slavery and then segregation excluded blacks from mainstream American culture, so they created their own and decades later it is now becoming more mainstream.

"Blackness" Do you people even hear how racist and ignorant you sound? Will Smith and Tyler Perrys success has nothing to do with them being black, it has to do with their talent. FFS you all are not the same and shouldn't celebrate each others accomplishments simply because you all have the same skin color. That's ignorant as heck. Black Americans are fat and cheer on the success of black Americans while completely ignoring the violence within their community and starvation of blacks in Africa. Black people make no sense.
@757cherrygurl5 жыл бұрын
@@Uhtredrag1080 it does have everything to do with them being black. It's not racist to celebrate our likeness. Being black is not just a color but a culture. It comes with a lot of goodness and alot of evil. So yes while we have violence in our community...we also have this.

Will Smith is such a gentlemen. Years ago I was interviewing for a job who used the lobby area of a posh Westlake hotel to conducted the interview. I was so nervous I knocked everything infront of me off the table. Before I could reach down to pick-up the items. Mr. Smith suddenly appeard picked everything up, placing them back on the table for me. Thank you again.

personally feel that Jada should of gone only because he really wanted her to. It was a special and unique moment in time and he wanted to share it with his wife. It wasn't about what Jada felt was best it was what mattered to him. I got the sense that he was dissappointed. Saw it in his face while they walked hand in hand. A healthy marriage is one where there is mutual submission which makes each other happy. If she had gone it would not have taken anything from his moment; if anything, it would have made him a happier man because she respected and honoured his request.
