I don't understand your plan. Are you looking to live on the sailboat traveling the rest of your lives? The reason why I say this is because I believe there will come a time when you will get sick and tired of living on a sailboat and go live on land. If so, how will you be able to afford a house by then since housing prices is going up like crazy every year in many parts of Europe , Canada, and the U.S. So while you are having fun traveling, I hope you understand you are living on a boat that is depreciating in value every year while housing on land is going up year over year. For example, in Oct 2019, I purchased a old 1300 square feet 3bed 2bath home built in the 1980s for about $800K in San Jose California. Now the house is worth $1.1M which is a 300K appreciation in just 2 years. Going at this rate most young people will never be able to afford a house if they have not purchased a home already. What about saving for retirement? Unless you guys are already wealthy, it is all fun and games until reality hits you.

Its videos like this that cause people to sell everything, buy a boat, and sail the world.
