I love our generation dolls! I recently started collecting them. I think they are the best 18 inch doll out there. The faces are beautiful. The fashions are cute. And the price is amazingly affordable!

It's really nice to see someone reviewing Our Generation dolls for once. It is one of my favorite 18" doll lines, and it is honestly very impressive and severely underrated for what it is. My only boy 18" doll is an OG, so I'm a little biased. Dustin is pretty cute. If I were in the market for another boy I might consider this one. I prefer the regular accessory sets over the blind backpacks, but I get that blinds are the trend now. Most of the 18" fashions I buy are from OG, the fabrics can get a little thin sometimes, but a decent brand overall. Plus they've expanded the face sculpts and hair textures in recent years which is commendable.

This brand is so adorable. It’s refreshing to see you reviewing other types of dolls. Next time you’re at the store you should go and see “Rochelle” she’s a newer OG doll with kinkier textured hair, I was shocked at how realistic it was, it looked and felt like my hair. I eventually bought her, she’s my one and only OG doll 🥰🩷. The only alternate outfit I have for her is this cute pyjama set I bought secondhand. They are a lot more expensive in South Africa, almost double the price but I got her on sale. Looking forward to expanding her closet and playing with her 😊.

Our generation is so much less terrifying than american girl so theyre cute! I dont collect baby dolls/baby versions of dolls (except bratz) but they are really cute! I bet people who do & kids adore these. Especially considering how widely available and affordable they are

I generally prefer AG for myself as an adult collector, and I am not a huge 18" collector compared to my 1/6th dolls. However, if I were buying for kids, I would definitely buy OG: the value is fantastic, and there is a good selection and diversity. I am a bit disappointed that the dolls sell for cheaper with more variety in the US when Battat appears to be a Canadian-based company (Montreal). It might have something to do with the fact that they can sell larger numbers through Target.
