He is talking about how other people see him.... that he’s good at everything so he questions if he’s working hard enough ... then he literally said “I feel like I should be working hard to the brink of death, but I don’t think I am,” and talks about that he should work harder... that’s absolutely devastating to hear out of this sweet guys mouth. It’s not the first I’ve seen him say something like that... how he’s insecure and feels like bc ppl see him as the golden maknae and good at everything.. he works hard to keep that image up for everyone else even though somehow he still thinks he’s not doing enough. If you have heard his demo song “decalcomania” then you would have heard him singing about this very idea... and the mental struggle he has with feeling not good enough or not hard working enough. Fun JK Fact: Jungkook named his studio Golden Closet because he used to record his SoundCloud song covers in his closet at their apartment. At the time, he didn't have a personal studio, so in his cover credits, he would list his closet as his studio and named it Golden Closet. The name stuck when he got his own studio.

More facts about kook: He was an extremely shy kid growing up and during their pre-debut days the members would ask him to sing for them and he would cry. The boys pushed him to try and sing because they knew he had to overcome his fear in order to go into the idol world otherwise he wouldn't make it in the team. He's obviously gotten better over the years but still likes to keep to himself and is generally quiet around people he's unfamiliar with. He usually avoids talking about his feelings however when this boy opens up, he REALLY lets it all out. He loves army very very much and wears his heart on his sleeve. Jungkook has done a few collabs with people he looked up to like zion t and charlie puth and those performances are great! I highly recommend them. He's a really passionate and hard working person, not to say the other members aren't. Jungkook is known as the golden maknae for a reason. He tries extremely hard to excel in everything he puts his mind to. He never half asses anything and will put all of his effort into whatever he's working on. Drawing, boxing, painting, singing, dancing, etc are just to name a few. One of my favourite things about jk is how much of an empathetic person he is. If one of his members are crying or upset, you're bound to see jungkook tearing up or crying along with them. This boy has a heart made of gold and is such a wonderful person.

He came up with the routine and dedicated it to Japan when they were going through a terrible tsunami (I believe). Jungkook is a very compassionate and empathetic person. The hardest struggle for him is seeing the other members in pain or struggling mentally. He cries when they cry, he likes to see them happy etc... And yes Namjoon is the reason JK joined BigHit. Jungkook is inspired by and loves Namjoon so much. When JK started in BTS he was told that he showed no emotion when he danced, so he was sent to LA for a few months to train in dance and he has been unstoppable ever since. jungkook has a fun nickname - the "laundry fairy" - because he loves doing it!! he has a very sensitive nose so he likes all the smells, and he enjoys + is good at making everything neat and tidy/perfectly folded. on bon voyage and similar shows, the members always have different "designated" roles: yoongi cooks meat, jin cooks in general, taehyung cleans dishes, and jungkook's job is doing laundry :)

some other tidbits i can think of: - jungkook strongly believes in fate/destiny. because of a drama he watched, he wants to/is hoping he will hear bells when he meets his soulmate - he's very romantic/sentimental in general. i think his parents have a cute soulmate type of story too - he doesn't like cigarettes, i think he told his dad to quit smoking. probably because of the sensitive nose thing - jungkook is good at pretty much all sports as we know, but apparently he doesn't care for aerobics or swimming - applies to all members, but jungkook particularly is known for selling out things by accidentally displaying them in BTS videos. banana milk, clothing, downy laundry soap... - jungkook is both a gamer and a weeb. he is known for being FANTASTIC at overwatch and other shooting games - jungkook has been slowly showing us the sleeve of tattoos he got during BTS's 2019 break/hiatus. in my opinion, they reveal a lot about him/his values. he has his birth flower w/ "PLEASE" over it which means "please love me" (that's the meaning of tiger flowers), a skeleton hand doing the sign for "rock on", "rather be dead than cool" (nirvana lyric), the ones on his knuckles/fingers, a purple heart, BTS's debut date ("0613"), "HYYH"/"the most beautiful moment in life", an eye, and many many more - overall, especially post 2018, he seems to be really drawn to the e-boy aesthetic. all black clothing, huge stompy boots, tattoos, piercings, long black hair in a ponytail/bun, etc etc - i think he or another member once said he's into makeup and he likes practicing doing his own sometimes - he wants to improve his english so he can help namjoon/become a "second translator"

Where do I even start he is a black belt in taekwondo doe, he has a small scar on his cheek, no matter how old he gets he will always call RM (Rapmon) and everyone teases him about it! He more then anything wanted to dance not be the main singer. He got bunny as a nickname because of his teeth, Studied dance in the US bc he was told he danced without emotion he was sent there alone at 15 for a couple months. The Japanese album of Map of the Soul the Journey he produced the intro and outro. YOU GUYS HAVE TO WATCH his Golden Closet Films it features all the guys and there travels the progression of the films is AMAZING if you watch them in order! ALSO he started in BigHit young 13 (15 in Korea) and him Jhope and Jimin were backup dancers for other artists. I will try to link it below. Jungkook is extremely respectful, kind, empathetic and sensitive. His character traits are exceptional and he's always concerned for his hyungs when something is wrong with them. Other than his character and extreme talents, here's another fact. He did dance training in California. He's also has a black belt in I believe Taekwondo. That snippet you showed of him dancing in what looks like a big hallway, you should check out the dance in the same place that he did with Jimin. It's amazing! In the beginning, his shyness and cuteness brought about the nick name "bunny" and he's called that in tweets to this very day. Or you'll see a bunny emoji.

I really loved this video and your reaction guys! Something that really hit me when I watched it was that he says that he works hard, does his best and is very honest with his fans because he want us to be proud of being BTS' fan. There are so many people that look down on Kpop or anything outside of the western norm, so it is common that people hide the fact that they enjoy the music or anything to do with the culture, but it shouldn't be so. i remember one time someone said (i think it was bang pd) that bts love each other so much they don't know what to do. it's amazing to me how the older members, despíte being teenagers themselves, basically raised jungkookie with so many values and so much love. in an industry so harsh like the music industry and him being so young, you could've expect him to be rude or spoiled as many other artists. but he always had that pureness in him that kept him humble and caring. truly the bestest boy!! great reaction, guys.💛☺️

Once, Jungkook danced for Bang PD and Bang PD told him something along the lines of, "you have no personality in your dancing". He sent Jungkook (14) to LA for dance training and Jungkook excitedly shared everything on BTS's pre-debut blog (the home of lots of stuff/songs/series, for example "jin's cookbook"). When he returned, he made that video (the one at 5:12) to show his growth. You can kind of see what Mr. Bang was talking about, his younger self was very shy and dare I say withdrawn as you know. But in the blog posts you can see that he worked very diligently to improve in LA, and the dance practice shows the increase in his confidence. I love Jungkook so much. He’s honestly such a beautiful soul to me. It’s amazing because he’s pretty quiet and calm (not always 😂💜) but yet he still manages to put across so much emotion. Whenever they have to write something out, whether it’s a letter on a BV or RUN episode, a diary entry for the stuff in a winter/summer package or a letter to ARMY, he’s almost always the one who writes the most. I’ve noticed when he writes it’s like he wants to capture every single detail he can. It seems like he finds it really easy to express himself that way. As others have said, he’s extremely emotional too. He’s usually one of the first to cry, especially at concerts. He’s really easily impacted by others emotions, especially the other members. Another thing I often hear is that he’s EXTREMELY polite and courteous. People who meet him say this about him constantly. You’ll always see in videos of them meeting people, he never fails to bow and show respect in any way he can. Not that the others don’t! They’re all beautifully mannered 💜. But you will notice Kookie really going out of his way to show respect for people. He’s just a lovely person through and through. It’s so lovely to see someone his age (also my age, so it’s nice to be able to relate to him in certain ways) not go down a crazy path because of fame. I don’t think any member of BTS would, they’re all so grounded, humble and lovely. J-Hope actually talked about how JK was one of the biggest reasons he stayed in BTS. He was going to quit, he’d made the decision and when JK found out he cried, they cried together, hugged and Hobi decided to stay. Yes there were other factors but JK was a huge part of that outcome. Apparently while still trainees JK and Hobi became extremely close and JK couldn’t imagine being there without him.

15 was Korean age. International age he was 13. He always pushes himself too hard when performing live and the others, such as Hobi advise him to hold back. Jin used to drive him to school in the early days. When the members were asked what the one thing they would he take to a desert island with them, JK said it would be Jin. When he missed his family in the earlier days and was thinking of leaving, Jin would visit his own family and take JK with him. They have a very special bond and Jin admitted JK is his favourite member.
