Ryanair is probably the nastiest of the bigger established airlines. They treat their staff horribly and will try anything to get money from you once you booked, setting traps all over the place. If you are legally entitled to compensation, the process is arduous so people tend to give up. Glad you enjoyed the wonderful Halkidiki region. Sarti is a good choice to stay, it's a touristy village but very nice without huge hotels.

Thanks for watching! I agree and I will never fly with them again, and definitely will pay more for comfort next time. What other locations would you suggest visiting in Greece?

@@irenalawless Greece has many beautiful places. I personally can recommend Corfu. It's a very beautiful green island and Corfu City has a very nice Italian flair. There are many beautiful places to relax, you can do boat trips to lovely Paxos/Antipaxos or even visit Albania by ferry. Just avoid Kavos because it is filled with drunk Brits.

You mean Skopje airport? The taxi driver in Thessaloniki mentioned that the location of the airport (SKG) is located between sea and mountains so planes often can’t land. This time even more difficulty was added by hurricane Daniel, no airports in Greece that we could’ve landed in
