Hi Family, going shopping these days, you have to think about if your family (especially kids) if they would eat this and that? Incase we buy it and it’s only you and your husband that eats it.. 😊 Katie & Nema, looks good in the Halloween costumes. Trick or treat.. give some sweets 😂 my kids use to do trick or treat, bring me back, so much lollies home, it takes ages for to eat the sweets. Quick question do you normally have a food budget & take a list when you shop? Do you have any food, budget, saving tips for us your subscribers? My quick tips to share for everyone watching too: 1) We use the GROCER app to compare supermarket prices in our area. 2) We always eat before we go shopping because we will buy extra when shopping. 3) We have a food budget of $70/week family of 3, always have a list on our phone, write down list of missing items on fridge during the week & shop only at Pak n save. 4) We make big dinners, take it for lunch the next day & always freeze any leftovers in freezer bags. Anything to save money like shopping at opp shops for clothes or food bargains shops like reduce to clear .but life goes by most of my children are teenagers now all working and have their own home, so less people to feed. We always encourage my family to take leftovers to work for lunch. Most of our meals are home made from scratch it's a money saving and better than take away. The best food mayonnaise is way cheaper and BIGGER also, the large bottle of vegetable oil, 10 pnd sugar, milk, bread, large size cereals and bread is WAY CHEAPER than any super market around your town?
