What a lovely Sunday this was. There were many questions about the villa and surrounding area. We go to the South of France almost every year. We love France, the small villages, the mountains, markets. This is the Var -Provence area. The village where we are located is called Salernes. This is our favorite village. We know everything here very well and it feels like coming home. Every year we try to choose a different villa in the village of Salernes or close by. In summer we are sure of hot sunny weather here and in the Netherlands this is not always the case. xxx Eveline

I could NOT believe my eyes when I saw LL having to choose between food & pool. And for a while, she chose POOL!! Obsessed is the exactly-right word. LL loves the pool! And then CC stealing some of LL's food - amazing. This was a video of many surprises! What a beautiful spot you have there in Salernes. Perfect for resting & recovering. A beautiful place for a beautiful family! Loulou on the float ignoring you made me laugh because it is such familiar behavior. My little Chops will look the other way when he doesn't want to obey, as if he is invisible and I can't see that he is refusing. So very typical Dachshund! Ha Ha good luck Coco trying to out shark the numero uno SHARK MAMA with LL’s food bowl!!! Gone in a single breath! I am learning with our new Dachshund puppy Hildy even though she appears deaf and ignores commands, she is quite devoted and soon follows if I walk away! Of course food always works! Have fun! Can’t wait to see more adventures!

An absolutely stunning villa and the area around it, that I've fallen in love with it. I could quite easily spend a long lazy summer there. Loved LouLou trying to make up her mind whether to go for the float in the pool, or her dinner. Her tummy won the day 🐾💖.

Hi Eveline! I could imagine Leader Loulou and Coco Puff in terry cloth striped sailor shirts! Admiral/General Loulou was determined to ”steer” that float and to reprimand Claire for swinging too high! When Lou realized that food was was coming, did you notice that she whiffed it down in only three gulps! A new record! Sweetie Pie Coco wasn’t going to let her guard down regarding the food. She went at it full blast! Fred has the right idea buying more wine! I say give the pups some deluxe foie gras and wine and chocolates for the humans!
