Our Holiday Routine With 3 Dogs And 2 Kids! Is Phil Getting Too Old??

We took a spontaneous holiday because grandad was visiting and the weather was really nice! It's so hard to find places that take 3 dogs though especially when they are this size so we usually tell porkies and say there's only two and try and hide one haha. I mean if there ever was enough evidence to show they are good dogs it's all online here but alas... one thing to note when you want to become a crazy dog lady! It was a lovely few days away with leisurely family strolls and easy access to multiple beaches. The place was a little small but we were only sleeping there really. Amelia and Nathan loved the beaches as much as the dogs and we even drove around the coast to visit further beaches. This is just some snippits from our little trip away so you can enjoy some of it too! This was a while back in May but it takes a long time to get all the clips together with everything else we do!

So sad about Phil. It reminds me of last year in August when I lost my senior. My lab Beary told me when it was his time to leave. Here in the U. S. We were able to use pet hospice, so he passed away at home where he wanted to be. No stress for him nor I crying, stressing and trying to drive home afterwards. I love Phil so and hope he has a long time remaining. 😢❤️

Can we get Phil a wagon with big tires that go through sand easily? Then he can ride in style and still keep up with the family. Lots of people get wagons and things like that for older dogs.

Phil's getting older and with his medical conditions I'm sure his slowing down is normal. As I get older I'm more into sweat pants and relaxing than I am hyper activity like Teddy.

Loved this compilation of holiday footage. I see what you mean my Phil’s limp. We all saw how happy he was to be amongst you all the first time you were by the water. So hopefully he can be included on the core activities. Otherwise your Dad saved the day with taking Phil on his own walk. I remember when it was just you and the dogs and Nathan at home you were trying to cater to the different physical capabilities with Teddy running alongside you on the bike.
