I had the exact same experience as Haider in Istanbul and I’d never go back, they’re very racist to Arabs & desis, when they heard my mum speaking Arabic they kicked us out of a taxi and others swore at her in the middle of the road. I also found Turkish food in London to be so much nicer than in Turkey, all I could eat there was mccdonalds. It’s so disappointing bc I love Turkish culture, but they’re very hostile in Istanbul.

Dubai was designed and created to be a Disney;land in a warm, dry climate. Its hard to compare it to other larger urban areas located in cold climates.. Also, the Tourist area of iDubai is all new. London, NYC, Amsterdam etc, etc are much older cities. Luv your shows. Luv your accents and use of the English language. The two of you are so young and excited about living your lives.

As a kurd from turkey it is quite disappointing, people are rude and will try scam their own people so i’m not shocked they’ve done it to you. And i can say they are very racist, even though turkey is a beautiful country i could say most people aren’t, the disrespect towards different ethnicities is quite crazy but it also does depend from city to city.
