My wife and I was younger than you, but we to had the desire to travel. We loved the Greek Islands, especially Santorini. We had a child while living in Italy, and found back packing with a child was fun. Trattoria’s are generally owned by a family and food is fresh, and when we brought our son in they felt obligated to give us a peaceful meal with out our son. Some people may find this strange but it is a family tradition. If I was spending a winter in port, I would be heading to Marina di Pisa for a protected port and great train service to travel Italy. I love sailing this area in the 70’s and 80’s.

I’ve watched all of your videos, and this is one of my favorites. What a cool place! I appreciate your explanations behind your discoveries, too. The cinematography and editing are fabulous. I do also get a kick out of Oso’s intrepidity, tempered by caution occasionally. The way he was cornered by the cat but figured out how to swim his way out was very interesting! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Through you I am seeing so many things that I would otherwise miss.

Constantly engaging with the local geological findings, it generates a great deal of attractiveness to the videos. Isa is quite captivated with every measurable inch and moment. This would be tough to accomplish some sort of communication of any given standard with folks on the possibility they may not understand boat etiquette, especially this late at night. Friendly with a tad of firmness to this etiquette. I believe the term many might use, in unshared space might be......""really"!

Purple Algae may actually be a bad sign, and that UV Light has killed the Algae Chlorophyll? Solar Emissions have done some damage to the Ozone layer, and has been really bad for the Arctic Region, resulting in the Spread of Dead Algae covering about 60% of the Arctic with the effect called Snow Bleeding or Watermelon Snow. This has happened in the past and has affected the Mediterranean Region, which is why really old Wall Murals showed a Purple Sea Colour.
@brownnoise357
@brownnoise357 Жыл бұрын
The Effort to fix the Ozone Layer Damage is pretty simple but requires something surprising to most people- we need to significantly increase the CO2 Content in Our Atmosphere, to drive Photosynthesis as much as possible, creating an uptick in Oxygen Content, and a very large uptick in Ozone Creation. Having a Net Zero Policy, is actually making a Shortage of Atmospheric CO2 Content Far Worse. I wish that was just an opinion, but is confirmed by the extent to which that shortage is affecting Plants that aren’t Desert Varieties that have evolved to handle a shortage of Water. All the others are attempting to cope with the CO2 Shortage by increasing the amount of water they are using, which leaves them weakened, and vulnerable to insect attacks and Plant Diseases. All of the Research I did for the Paper I wrote debunking the Ocean Acidification Fraud for the UK Parliament Science and Technology Committee , Pointed to this issue, and frankly, imho we need to replace Net Zero with a 3,000 ppm Content of CO2 Objective- though not likely to hit it, we might just get it to 2,000 ppm, which could buy us a few centuries to get our scientific act together again. Sorry for the long post, but you seeing purple algae for me, is really worrying. Best Wishes, Fair Winds, and Safe Travels. Bob. 🤔⛵️🌟🌟🌟❤️

Did you read Issa's eyes there at about 4:40? I think they said, "Oh, another cave! I want to go swimming." I recently found myself in the Marquesas Islands. Tahiti is one thing. Many people in Tahiti speak enough English to communicate. Nuka Hiva or Hiva Oh, not so much. It's French or some forgotten Polynesian language. I think I may need Babbel in my future. Osso vs. CAT - My daughter has an 18-year-old cat and a 12-year-old Labradoodle. The old cat still likes to catch the dog in a room and stand at the doorway. The 60-pound dog will not attempt to pass the 18-pound cat. It is so funny.

I enjoy your videos so much, thank you. The last time I was on a boat in the Med I was tracking Russian aircraft as a radarman for the U.S. Navy and sometimes I would look at the shore and wish I had the time to do exactly what you are doing. Jordan treasure your moments with Isabella because they grow up so fast, it seems like yesterday my son was her age and now he is 40. Interesting facts about Turkey, they are in NATO and one of our allies, they are a majority Muslim country, and they love and revere cats more than most people!. May you and your family go safely each night and day.
