I did our first Royal cruise in October and the one thing we loved was the layout of the ship. Nothing was crowded!

40:34 since we know we’ll be in the swim up bar and not on a lounge chair, we started to bring our belongings in a waterproof diving bag so we could just have it in the water with us. Looks like VV room service bag but made of waterproof material. Total game changer for us.

Our sail date was September 7, 2024. I can only say the Ship was AMAZING. The food was amazing, the staff was amazing, my cabin steward, she was amazing and got the biggest tip from me. The entertainment was outstanding. There is nothing bad I can say about this ship. Everything was above excellent for our cruise.

We sailed the Marti Gras right after it debuted and it felt so packed. The venues very small with lines. And this was still during C so it wasn’t at full capacity. This video is making want to save my $$ and sail the Icon!! Thank you for great content!

Overall food is better on Royal Carribean than Carnival you just have to know where to eat at. Definitely want to go on Icon of the Seas. I have to start doing my reviews. Thanks for inspiring us

Symphony creaked in the back of the ship. We had floor 11, I think, 4 rooms from the back, inside balcony.

To help with price use a travel agency, many like main have group selling rates that are available without creating your own groups. For example our balcony rooms come in around $3500 a cabin with OBC saving thousands.

Great review! The Quest has been different for us depending on which ship we’ve been on. We found it to be really PG on Allure of the Seas. But on Liberty of the Seas this past November, there was nudity on The Quest. We noticed that it varies by ship and also length of cruise. The weekend or 4 day sailings seem to have more of a party vibe, including The Quest. Great content fam!

Greetings. You two are good together. My wife and I have cruised carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian. We may be cruising MSC in a month or two. I appreciate your comments and showing us the ship. Here’s the question though, do you two visit resorts? If so, I highly recommend Hotel XCARET Arte in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Arte is the adults only section of the resort system. This place is what Disneyland is trying to grow up to be. My family and I will be there for the fourth time this July. This is the kind of place you could spend a month in and not get close to having seen or done all that they provide for your entertainment. Keep up the good travels.

Love this audio review. My hubby and I LOVED ICON! We agree with 95% of the things you stated. I do believe we enjoyed the food alot more than you all did. Lol. I took notes on the drinks for the next sailing. Winjammer was always excellent. Main dining too. Hooked ‘was’ just ok and I wasn’t feeling the mac nor asian at acquadome but the crepes…OMG! Salted caramel with was everything! Yall gotta try next time. I also discovered a few things that we missed like laser tag. But I literally tried to get it all in…3 nights of specialty dining, most of the shows, thrill island slides, hideaway infinity pool, and hideaway each at cococay. And yea that crowns edge was cute from a distance but we weren’t for it either. Lol. Ok Im rambling… Thanks for a great review. Y’all make me wanna rebook tonight!

I want to try this cruise. I’ve been watching y’all videos before i took my cruise on the carnival vista and was so excited to go and they really disappointed me with the food , wait lines , felt like there was nothing to do after a certain time, small pool area. It wasn’t what i expected but y’all videos definitely had me prepared as a first time cruiser! Idk if we need to try a another carnival ship or what . But the Icon of the seas is looking like our next cruise .

$1,300 for a cruise? Dang. How'd you manage that? When was the last time you went? I'm thinking of booking for 2 (I was going to go solo, but realize they just double charge you basically because of the losses they take by booking 1 person in a 2 person room) and I can't see spending less than $3,500 before all the extra expenses that are sure to accumulate during the cruise itself.
