My favourite single for suree is Han Bin. I really thought all the girls would want to pair up with him. (He has such good leadership skills as seen in the group cooking parts, he is so bright, cheerful and sweet).Like I know he can make everyone comfortable around him and all in all he is such a big cutiee💗💗. Hot take:I have seen so many comments attacking Seulki like it's only been a few episodes ya'll need to chill. So, in paradise Dong woo was coming in a little too hot and also maybe the age gap/the occupation might have triggered Seulki and that might be why she was reacting totally off with him in the remainder of paradise. As for with Jing young in what I can assume seeing the teasers, here she was coming off a bit more forward with him. I feel like people have set boundaries or rules (Dong woo) but they can easily break them for someone who they are really interested or like (Jin young). Like the hate for Seulki is only because she is being selected the most and not the audiences' girl crush favourites💀. This show really gave me an eye opener that a girl who maybe majorly liked by the female audience may not be liked by majority of the guy contestants 🫡💔

Definitely prefer Yoong-jae way more than the new guy. The mysterious would definitely pique my interest but I'd prefer to be in a relationship with someone who is more warm and open. And Yoong-jae seems to be assertive and confident enough without being so cold. Edit: Okay after seeing episode 4-5 and how he dealt with So-e, I think he could've been way better at communicating with her, but I don't believe he led her on. However he did drag out not getting back to her after she talked to him and when he did talk to her it was a horrible job on his part.

I don't think talking or flirting is "playing" someone because everyone is getting to know each other. Also it is not his fault that other girls didn't go to paradise. He is one person and if multiple like him and he can only choose one there is bound to be girls who don't het what they want.

Be rude to them and reject them outright when this is a dating show and he is suppose to get to know everyone so he can pick 1?! He was just friendly to them... I never actually see him be lovey-dovey to them. In fact he seem so uncomfortable with SooE while he just seem indulgent with Sejeong. I think mature girls will go for Yoong Jae whereas younger girls will be more interested with the new guy. Stability or the ability to see a future with your partner is more important that the mysterious part which unknowingly creates more unnecessary situation of feeling insecure

Same. I mean I'm a gay guy but when I was younger (like early 20s) I def would've went for Jinyoung and I do find his demeanour "hotter" I guess, but it'd be more fling/hookup oriented if that's what you want. Now that I'm 30 I'd absolutely go for Yoong Jae, his mature vibe and kindness are very attractive and he appears more "relationship material" to me.

As a girl who doesn’t drink, I 100% agree with what Jason saying at the beginning. I’ve been on dates with guys from dating apps and I just say that because it’s different to go out with a guy you don’t know super well already, and when I tell him I don’t drink, the man’s reaction is a big thing that I pay attention to. It can be a HUGE turn-off. If he’s a little disappointed, that’s fine, and the same is true if he asks about why. But if he seems upset at all.. it’s definitely a red flag. I guess it’s because I’m most worried about my safety and I’m legit being honest about not drinking, and I feel like you have to be savvy enough to understand that and that it’s not about the dude. Also, I like to think about how he’d be in social situations with other mutual friendsand would he be the guy who pressures people to drink when they legitimately don’t want to, in a selfish way? I’m not even saying in a creepy way

It’s def a red flag if a guy or anyone for that matter gets upset if you yourself don’t drink. The way the Doctor reacted, I feel that it was a mix of him being surprised that Seul-Ki didn’t drink, but also kind of felt let down that he couldn’t enjoy the alcohol and luxuries together with her in the paradise place. While he did seem kind of a bit over-caring, while also being too cautious as if walking on eggshells around Seul-Ki, she should of just straight up told him she wasn’t interested after she found out he was a plastic surgeon instead of wasting both her and his time.

She was trying to get to know him and he shot himself in the foot by being too pushy! It was more so the fact that he basically wanted her to like profess her love to him right away! He kept asking do you want to come back here with me, do you want to keep hanging out with me. It was like man, she just met you! She is trying to get to know your personality and honestly this is turning her off. When she said I don’t know yet how I feel, is when he should have backed off. @@trinad08 Let’s be real, as soon as Seul-Ki realized that the guy is a plastic surgeon, she immediately put up a wall (come to find out that her father is a plastic surgeon as well). I do agree that the guy was being too pushy and not getting the hint that she’s not interested, but it works both ways. She should of been clear the moment she put up a wall so that the guy would stop bothering her (wasting her time), and that so she could move on to another guy after going back to the island without the Doctor constantly bugging her at every corner (wasting his time).

@@BatmanSpideyDa3rd I just watched that scene and I didn’t get the feeling that it was his job. She seemed fine with it. Her face and tone didn’t show any negative reaction. It looked like it was the pushy questions that followed from someone she was just trying to get to know. Plus this guy still was following her even after they talked and she told him how she felt during the bonfire episode. He was still talking like he wants her to change her mind. He was even following her back to the tent and asking where she was going after she said she is not interested. He was like: “Are you going back to your tent”. Like man just leave her alone! It doesn’t matter what you say to this guy, he only hears what he wants to hear. And you say wasting time, it’s only been a day. Sometimes it takes a little time for people to build courage to let someone down ( especially someone who hasn’t dated much). It’s not like she continued to chase him and gave him false hope when they got back. Yes she should be honest, which she was the next day, but She showed no interest.

@@trinad08Everyone will have their own perspective, but it was definitely at the mentioning of his job that made her put up a wall. The guy being a bit pushy made her raise that wall even further. It got me a bit tight cuz the guy should of gotten the point as soon as she put up a wall. Though I won’t fully put the blame on him cuz, like I said before, it takes two to tango, and she chose to go with the guy to paradise. Though it also got me tight that she cut off all communication, only giving vague answers to him, while the guy looked nervous and flustered ASF in always needing to be the first to start every convo, with no assurance or confidence over the fact of whether she’s playing hard to get or not. TLDR; * The guy should of gotten the point and quit tryna simp when she went full radio silence. * The girl should of told him straight up that she wasn’t interested in him, instead of waiting for the 3rd or 4th episode to finally tell him at the bonfire 😭💀

I love Nadine and Se-Jeong, they both seem like girls that girls want to hang out with and like they know they’ll be just fine after the show if they didn’t find the love of their life. They’re there for the life experience of it and for a good time, that’s the kind of women that other women respect. Dongwoo was asking questions about how Seulki felt about him rather than questions to get to know her. Sadly he was just going too fast I think. Whereas Jinyoung kind of just let her set the pace and let her approach him at her own time. It’s pretty interesting to observe as a viewer

While it was hard for me to watch the plastic surgeon guy and the piano major student girl, I have learned a lot about compatibility too. Dongwoo was considerate and treated her well. And I understand that he wanted to talk about feelings or to know what she thought. That's why he kept asking her questions. But it was not how Seulki functions. She might want to open up only to someone she trusts. I had a gut feeling that Yoongjae and Seo-eun would get along really well. Both are not just great conversationalists but also good listeners. He might be impressed by her easygoing but also wise demeanor. I feel like they are the type of couples that can carry intellectual conversations for hours without being bored or tired. Hope that he didn't take it the wrong way that she chose to spend time with someone else. I really like their chemistry.

The surgeon is sooo arrogant and he was talking to her like you talk to a 4 yo smh...And Seul ki is boring and seem like a spoiled girl but i actually changed my mind about her when she put him back in his place it was memorable ! Jason actually has such a good eye for nuances hahaha, I had to pause and appreciate. I'm also no good at drinking and find it uncomfortable when guys react like Dong Woo. It's almost as though not having the usual conveniences such as being mutually tipsy and opening up through alochol is bringing him out of his comfort zone. So it's not really about alcohol compatibility. I'm cool if you wanna drink even if I don't but if you don't feel comfortable with me not drinking, i'll have to think about why. Same with how he reacted to her not answering his questions in a way that's very affirmative /gives him a sense of security about her having reciprocted feelings (it's like he's used to getting that, so he's uncomfortable not getting it). I totally understand Seulki's reaction!

Saaaame, Han-bin all the way. ☺️ He’s been my favourite since episode one, when he brightened up the initial tension on the couch. As I’ve grown older -and as a person who struggles sometimes in social situations- I’ve really come to appreciate and feel attracted to cheerful guys who are considerate and do their best to make people comfortable. I used to think mysterious guys who were quiet and serious like me were supposed to be a good match, but now I know the opposite is so much better. ☺️

This season is so good! Nadine is one of my favorite girls and there’s actually a moment where she confides in se-jeong that she wants to speak with the new guy and se-jeong legit rushes out to talk with him first which I felt was a bit shady but Nadine is so nice she let them talk instead 😢. Also, the miscommunication that whole date night is what made it so bad they were also overwhelmed and out of their element. Whereas the other couple decided to let loose and enjoy every minute.

I think you misunderstood the point. They're saying he should have been more confident and assertive at the earlier parts of the night, before her disinterest came. Like getting alcohol for himself regardless of her not drinking or going to the pull to play regardless of her not swimming. That gives a glimpse into his own individuality, and doesn't make her feel pressured nor crowded, nor as though every single thing he does is centered around her.

I think I prefer the new guy more. He's very blunt and honest yet pretty polite. He's also from a military background which is why he has that confident vibe. I like Yoong-jae but I also see his shortcomings. Like he didn't really talk to the girl he went to paradise with after going back to Inferno. They didn't have a sit down conversation so I don't understand how he thought she would stay back especially since she can't read his mind. At the same time, he was also talking to other girls and stringing them along. He told one of them that he wants to get to know all the girls before making a final decision. Which is great, I understand his logic but at the same time, he can't expect her to just wait around while he's getting around. Also, unlike him, the guy she later chooses to go to Paradise with had a sit down conversation with her, actually told her he likes her and is willing to wait for her, and just really showed how serious and sincere he is to her.

Personally, I understand why Seulki chooses the new guy because I hate it when a guy over-accommodates for me. I like how you can see the new guy's mind working about whether the girls actually need help or not, and then ultimately decides they are capable enough to do it themselves. I think Seulki is genuinely caught off guard multiple times when he doesn't just jump to do everything for her like everyone else. Like, she knows her own abilities and apparently he does as well. Men, you don't have to try too hard. There is someone who appreciates you just as you are.

Like I enjoy the fact that I don't have to read the subs whenever she talks but I bet the other contestants wish they had subs when she does talk like that.

I personally prefer Yoongjae more. He’s attentive, caring and genuinely interested in getting to know people. I get why some people would be attracted to the new guy more, but I just find him too quiet, mysterious, and overly disinterested in everything, basically. For someone who is quiet and timid like me, trying to talk with the new guy would be HELL, I’d feel so frustrated and awkward. However, holding a conversation with Yoongjae would be easier since he likes asking people questions, getting to know them on a deeper level. I feel like you could talk about everything with him, and he’d still listen attentively. So, yes. This is why I’d choose Yoongjae over the new guy.

I think that as long as he isn't overly assertive or overly emotional I would prefer Youngjae over Jinyoung as I wasn't even physically attracted to Jinyoung when he joined. The again, I'm also American so his swag was pretty tame, though his personality did warm me up to him. The fact that Jin Young is calm and has an arau of I am doing things my way. Helps you feel relaxed, which makes it easier to catch feelings then when you are all nervous and insecure. He is nice, but isn't a servent he has a line that he holds himself and a partner to. This is very attractive as people should have boundary's. His coldness could scare people away though. Yoong-jae also has the calmness he is more open then jin young though. But there is a boundary to how nice you can be, because we live in a world were you can't be nice to everyone. He is close to that boundary, which could turn people off. I think both are at the same level of attractiveness, they just get there for different reasons.

So I see it as a matter of who is considered “easy” or “hard” to seduce. Yoong Jae is easy because he is very open about his emotions and appears to be actively trying to get the girls to like him. The new guy is hard. His mysteriousness is appealing but you have to put in the work to know where you stand with him as a romantic partner (just based off what I’ve seen so far). I feel like for Dongwoo, Jason was closer in that Dongwoo kept taking the girl's response as immediate rejections which was offputting for the girl because they weren't. From my perspective, the girl's responses aren't immediate hard rejections, they're (1) An indication of surprise and an explanation of a personal limit ("oh we're drinking? I don't take alcohol well") and (2) An attempt to connect with Dongwoo on a level she is capable of ("I can't swim but I can splash around") aka I can still join you despite my personal limit. So for me it's not about Dongwoo sticking to his guns or being more assertive or accommodating but rather Dongwoo totally misreading the girl's responses as hard rejections when she's just bringing up personal limits to discuss together. The key point in both conversations for the girl is that she is letting him know XYZ are things she can't do, so will he be able to respect it and work with it? - and Dongwoo doesnt react well to either instance which is honestly a red flag bc if he can't pick up on these small boundary discussions, whose to say he'll understand boundaries on a bigger level. What would have been more reassuring and helpful would be "oh you dont drink? That's okay, you dont have to drink but I'd like to order a drink, is that ok?" And "sure, let's spend time in the water together, its okay if you dont swim" For me as a girl it's always really important to me whether or not a guy can pick up on my obvious social cues bc if they're really oblivious to those kinds of things it's not only offputting it can be dangerous. Having guys not understand you're not interested can turn into a really terrifying experience. Here the girl is not throwing off any hard "not-interested" vibes and the guy is interpreting them as hard rejections which is offputting.

yes totally spot on. he is the kind of guy that you tend to misunderstand at first but then as you know him more you will know he is just being genuinely himself with and not pretentious. and contrary to many thinking he has many red flags, I on the other hand thinks he is a really lovely guy and he can be very warm to someone he likes, but he doesn't let his guard down fast, it takes time to know him. He also consider a lot of real factors if he were to be in a relationship with Seul Gi, as their background is vastly different. he considers aspects like time, commitment, status, etc. so I really think he is a total GEM!

It was nice to hear the Dong woo/Seul ki situation from a guys perspective. I really wanted to hear your thoughts on their breakfast scenario. I feel like he handled it as best as he could. She doesn’t know how to have a conversation. I think he was trying to get some kind of affirmation from her that she was interested because all she did was say “I’m not sure” or “I don’t know”. His mistake was putting his feelings out there too much to someone who wasn’t interested . And what’s so bad about asking someone how they slept? Maybe it’s a cultural thing 🤷‍♀️

It's the tone he uses. If he just said 'did you sleep well?' in a formal way there wouldn't be an issue but he said 'did Seulgi sleep well?!' in a tone that seem like he is talking to a baby. It can come off as offensive or like talking down to someone. That's why she said 'do you always talk that way?'. If you just read the sub it will seem like he didn't do anything wrong but in korea there are different tones and formal or informal way of talking to someone.

SPOILER ALERT Dong-woo was very pushy with Seulki, I think the guy in the blue was spot on - Dong-woo felt rejected and made her feel like it's her fault that they are not swimming when she was actually down to just chill at the pool. Basically he got moody because it didn't go his way. I really liked Yoong-jae at the beginning, he listens very attentively, he is handsome and cute but I didn't love the whole thing with So-e, he clearly wasn't interested in her but couldn't tell her directly. But I also feel like it was damn obvious he wasn't interested and So-e sort of kept pushing it in a "nice way" like non-verbal communicate is also communication girl, he ain't into you! The new guy for me is very attractive, cute and playful, but I don't know if I could take him seriously. I think he is honestly the most straightforward though so far. Nadine is just living her best life, I like her, I wish the new guy would choose her over Seulki. Nadine and Se-jeong have so much more personality than Seulki. I don't hate Seulki it's just a bit annoying that they all go for her mostly because she is pretty and "innocent" looking.

Jason can read into things well. Your reactions and "review" take is funny. Since it is a show they know to not get overly invested in someone without getting to know other people and exploring their options so it isn't as if they are all stringing and playing each other. This season is full of winners the girls are so lovable and each guy has their own charm and appeal. Nadine (instantly vibed with her as someone blunt, reserved, honest and she's beautiful and brilliant just wholesome), Yoong-jae (seems hardworking, earnest, genuine) and Jong-woo (seems seriously a good guy who can be considerate and caring and not just playing nice guy) are my favourite people. The new guy is himself he doesn't pretend and that's attractive to most females that's into assertive masculines but the type to date and maybe break your heart (LOL).

When seulki came back from paradise she explained to the girls it didn’t work out and she was trying very hard to avoid him so the conversations were going in circles because he would ask questions or would want to do something and she told them she tried to kindly avoid the situation and she explained it was awkward and he wasn’t understanding her. She said it was 답답해. So it sounded to me that she was explaining to the girls that he had NO 눈치. When I saw them at paradise I also thought he had zero 눈치. For some reason she lost interest in him. Honestly she seemed rude. If she didn’t like him she didn’t have to pick him again. But she was already giving hints that she wasn’t interested in him when they were at paradise by being short with him. She seemed like she was giving him the cold shoulder not cause she’s shy. I was actually upset that the surgeon didn’t pick Nadine when she expressed some interest in him cause I liked her. She seemed kind and down to earth.

I have people being interested in me because they found me mysterious, I have people who'd judge me before knowing me, and that's why I could relate to Jin young a lot.
