Well, life is still as boring and dull as ever. I wish I have the time and money to travel like both of you are dong now. Free and enjoy life what life has to offer at this moment.

Right back on track, after having been sick for 2 mths! Argh.... Happy to be active again! Still pursuing the bulk building phase. Problem is not eating enough calories and not frequent enough. Thank you for asking. Brad, I observed that Muai Thai is rough and rugged activity. What would you advise if I had past physical injuries on the L4-L5 lower back, knee cap pains and left shoulder injuries. Is it advisable to still go for Muai Thai?
@BradNewton5 жыл бұрын
So sorry to hear that!! Damn! Yeah the bulking does require a consistent calorie surplus - at least 4-5 days per week surplus (1-2 days at "TDEE" is okay, in my experience) Muay Thai is VERY rough but given your injuries, especially L4/L5 (which funnily enough, is where my injury is!) - you "could" probably still do Muay Thai but just listen to your body and don't push beyond your pain thresholds. For me, my back pain is from a lower back injury which tightens my hip flexors. This limits my kicking potential. But I work with it by spending ALOT of time stretching out my hip flexors, and not doing anything that will make it worse. I'm currently getting physio done. So some days I just stick to normal boxing.
