How do you make a living while traveling full time? Are you F.I.R.E or have enough money to live off of the 4% or 5% withdrawal rate?

@@BlueStreak706 That is a great question (husband and I said that at the same time when we read this comment 😁) To keep it brief, we started to explore what it meant to be F.I.R.E preneurers, but then realized it was not for us. We do agree on the 4-5% withdrawal rate and are actively pursuing Financial Independence by the time we reach our 40s. Want work to be optional by then. F.I.R.E is too meager, and we wanted to live based on the type of life we wanted. We know how much we want to live on a year, and base our income from that. Speaking of which, we own several online businesses that we may sell in the long-term. Both give us the ability to travel at leisure and financially support ourselves.

@@TinyLivingBigAdventure And that is a Great Answer! I'm glad I found you guys, adding to inspiration to live a free life. To some extent, F.I.R.E movement may add a lot of stress for the pursuer only to have a ton of time at the end. I agree that enjoying the journey and be half FIRE and get to choose your work is a more meaningful fulfilling life. Keep up the good work guys!

Very bold move, but when you realize life has an expiry date, it all makes sense. Looking forward to follow your journey. Greetings from Belgium.

I lost my mom, a close friend and her baby within the span of 6 months last year. Since then consumerism makes no sense and I’ve been working to get rid of so much! But it amazes me how long it takes, even though I was already pretty minimal before hand

Oh my gosh. I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you. Thank you for sharing this. It takes courage. It's crazy what we accumulate over time. It's definitely a process and for some, it's also a healing process 💜
