Thank you for the update. Happy to see you home and happy. Avastin is a miracle drug. My brother Brandon is taking chemo every month and is doing great. No new growth and scans every two months. He can’t drive due to sliced vision and his short term memory is terrible. He’s not going back to work and is on full time disability. I’m so happy you will be able to drive and go back to work. Praying for you and enjoy your family. Enjoy everyday and don’t sweat the small stuff.

Stable is a good place to be with GBM, very happy for you. May I add, if your Dr decides to decrease your steroid and it is more than 1/2 mg you will have trouble. You have to wean very, very slowly off it or symptoms will hit hard. Learned this with my husband. Quality of life is a huge decision to make and I understand your decision. Continued prayers for you and your family.

You look and obviously are feeling so much better which is great to see. Your uncertainty about a possible second tumour must be so scary and frustrating I hope that is not the case and you remain stable and well. Make lots of lovely memories with your lovely familyYour decision about stopping chemo is yours to make and only you guys to make. I have no religion so will not be praying for you but I can and will be sending lots of positive thoughts your way from the UK ! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I think your smoke detector may have a low battery as I can hear a chirping alarm.

Hi guys, I am glad that you are stable and better. I had a good friend of mine with glioblastoma and she actually fought it for 7 years. Cannabis oil helped a lot and prolonged her life so if you have ability to get some... stay positive and wish you all the best.

Have you spoken to your neuro-oncologist about Optune? My father has a GBM (diagnoses on 10/8/18) and like Brandon did not tolerate chemo well.

I didn’t think you could get chemo on the brain, thought it couldn’t pass thru the blood brain barrier
