Our Kawasaki KRX 4 Build is finally finished! - Time for a full Walk Around of Clifford

In October of 2022, we picked up a new Kawasaki KRX4 and started planning a build that would ultimately become Clifford. In this video, we'll do a full walk around of the build, letting you know how much we paid and what it would cost for you to reproduce your own Clifford build.

Video starts off great. Joe didn't crash the drone into the windshield. Garrett did most of the work. Lol. We know Joe, we know. This build is truly awesome. I saw on the interwebs that if you put a little ether on the pod lights they get as bright as a light bar 😅. Great video Joe. Yep, everything adds up quick! If you took off the wrap and cage, that would help save 5k right off the bat. Plus now that it seems Covid prices are going away, that will help a lot as well. -Garrett

Yeah it's already happening. I had a dealer refuse to sell me a turbo R Premium for full sticker plus tax, title, license. I asked for not a single dollar off full price and this was about a year ago. The dealer refused to sell me the car without a 7k markup, so the car was mid 40s. I see it at the same dealer now for 28k 😅. I ended up paying cash for a near new 2021 Turbo S from a private seller, and in the next year I'll be buying a PRO R ULTIMATE for cheaper than that clown was trying to sell me a Turbo R PREMIUM. .

Nice build guys. Where I live in Australia a base model 4 seat ES costs $43,772, no roof, no winch etc.

Perfect build. I am glad you did not go with the HCR kit tbh. My opinion is 69-in wide with of the machine from the factory is perfect it's not too wide and yet it's wider than the 64 inch standard machines. Handling is second to none right out of the box. The hcr kits are too wide imo unless all you do is crawl rocks. I love all the red, looks terrific.

wow! Very nice build looks really nice. Noticed the Schrader valves on the shock reservoirs, did you get the shocks re-valved? are you going to do a review on how that Kawasaki rides?

We only did springs but STR put those on for us so he can make adjustments.

I noticed you didn't do a rear windshield and don't have the sub installed. Just wondering about reasoning. I've had the nets in the back of my rig but just picked up a KRX 4 and was thinking about rocky mountains poly carbonate rear windshield.

What was the deciding factor with going with 34" tires versus the very common and popular 35" size?

I just got a 2024 KRX 4 ES SE. I have 35's on it, and tusk beadlock wheels. The front tires rub just a bit on the rear inner fender and rock slider. Whats the best way to fix this? Forward A arms? Shock Therapy dual rate coils? (they say they add 1-2" of lift). Or some other method? Seems to rub more when i have 4 adults vs just me. Thanks.

A spring kit is all you need. Ours does great with just the spring kit.

Awesome thanks! Any recommendations for which spring kit, shock therapy, full access utv, or others? You are talking all 8 springs right, not just tender springs? Also, have any recs for a good shop to have them installed in the St George area?@@DerangedOffRoad

@@nigelcobalt we went with Hyperco, but really any of them are good. If you’re located in St.George, look up STR tuning and talk to Todd. That’s who set us up for the Pro XP and KRX.

If I where to buy the Rhino Whips from you, 3ft ones, what all would I be getting in the Box? On the web site they are $400. And on your site they are $470, so I assume I'm getting something else when I order from you. Even with the Plug n play wiring harness the total is coming out to $455.00 Which I don't understand because on their site it says +65.

2k for the wrap and they did the fenders? Damn I got screwed. 48k, yeah thats probably about where im at with my 2021 turbo s. Its caused me quite the dilemma because the car is close to finished, and its so bad*ss, but now i need one of these Pro Rs. If they really are head and shoulders above the older models, like everyone says, i already know im going to end up buying one. Problem is I dont have a use for 2 4 seaters and I dont want to sell this car now after where ive gotten it.
