The internet has been wonderful to make known the saints of the Catholic Church. As a craddle catholic, raised in a 100 percent catholic community, I can say that I have come to know more about the catholic saints through the net. St. Philomena came to my knowledge four our five years ago. I believe in praying to the saints.

As a cradle Roman Catholic 😊, I too have gained so much knowledge about my Catholic religion; especially our Catholic prayers ! I really can't think of a better source than the world wide web, to retrieve Catholic prayers for our Saints, angels, et al. , for God is magnificent in His angels and in his saints God bless you.

Is it true that her feast day is August 11th? Thanks for uploading this talk about this magnificent saint! I recently came to know about her and suddenly started her chaplet. My friend also started prayer through her and she claims miracles happening in her family. I am waiting for mine. I am sure it will happen. Praising my Lord Jesus Christ !🙏🏽

*THE ONLY person in Church history to be declared a SAINT >solely from documented miracles*< not because of her life. And not only multiple popes but great saints like St. John Vianney- and Padre Pio also-have attested to her sanctity... and encouraged devotion to her and asking her intercession. For me, the words of Vianney and Pio cast out any doubt of her special place before God. (St. John Vianney himself composed the litany to St Philomena.) Btw, a power fact: In the life of St John Vianney it's disclosed that the devil in unwanted praise told the Curé d'Ars that if there were three like him in the world, then his (devil's) power would be done. V. literally was like a Padre Pio of the nineteenth century; from all over the world, countless came to see him, ask for help and miracles and to go to Confession. If a saint like V., so exemplary, great >and genuinely humble also< attributes miracles TO St Philomena that people thanked him for, then we should have boosted confidence in this young martyr also.
