I lost my dad to suicide on October 11th, 2021. Months leading to his passing, he would play this song and we would sing it together to the stars in the sky. He needed help, and we tried the best we could, but he wouldn’t take it. He denied he needed it. How I miss you so, Daddy. This song is from me to you. If only I knew how really sad you were inside then, and if only you knew how sad I am now that I couldn’t save you. Until we meet again… maybe in another life. 💔🕊

Im so sorry for the loss of your Dad 😢 Don't ever blame yourself. I tried to take my life twice and thankfully I didn't succeed. Noone could have prevented either event as it was a spur of the moment decision after letting things get to me. Thankfully I'm doing well now.

it's so beautiful to me how this song starts. "your life has been so hard". it shows understanding towards somebody's struggles, it validates them. I know for sure I've known people that needed help and didn't want it, and I'm certain I've been that person, too. I'm so grateful that this song exists.
