It pains me how this band is viewed now. These guys helped me get through many hard times back in the early 2000s, and they were also very popular. I went to see them last year, and they were an opening band for a 3 band show. Barely anybody even sat down to watch them. It brought a tear to my eye. Our Lady Peace will always be one of the top bands in my opinion.

Proof that when the stars align just right, and perhaps when Raine puts forth just a little extra effort, he can sound great live.

I've seen them 3 times, including two nights ago, and he's sounded excellent every time.

I have to agree, I've been two separate shows (separate tours). I believe he's one of those artists that gives a great live performance equal to the quality of his recorded songs

xx1lomazdawgxx Hey I was at that show too! I was grateful to see them for the first time finally but I have to say Raine's vocals weren't what they used to be. I've watched all the live OLP videos KZbin has to offer, dating back to 1994. He was never the best live vocalist but back then he at least attempted some of the crazier falsetto parts found in many of their songs. He still had that nasally quality in his voice which to me always made them sound unique, along with Mike Turners guitar work. With the absence of Raines old school voice before he started singing in a lower register, and with the loss of both Turner and Taggart, this show truly felt like Our Lady Peace lite. They've been moving towards a tamer, more adult contemporary indie rock sound ever since the mid 2000s but now even the old material has shifted from frantic energy to smoothed out, dull arena rock. Idk, I hate to be so cynical but the guy was clearly struggling on songs like One Man Army and he often didn't even finish phrases in many of the songs....sometimes leaving out vocal parts altogether. But above all else I think the biggest disappointment was the hopelessly inactive, bored crowd. As one of the younger people in attendance I was appalled by the lack of energy and movement displayed. Not even their old and heavier songs got the crowd dancing or rocking out.

Tharpedo Entertainment we paid $10 each for tickets and were more than happy to ride the memory train to Nostalgiaville. I was a senior in high school when Clumsy was released. He does have a very unique voice, and it wasn't perfect, but he's nearly 50. Was it the best concert ever? No, but we had a good time. I felt the crowd was into it for the most part. Lots of older people to be expected.
