What I love the most about efteling is the fact that people with a disability can enjoy the day as well. Almost every attraction has a special entrence for them and Max&moritz has a elevator😊 I have autism and it helped me a lot to avoid the bizzy queues and having just a good day🥰

Me too. I have a prothetic and cant take steps alot. Whith the card i can use the easier entrance. An elevator is also at Baron's. At Symbolica we can only use the green ride (musictour). I really enjoy, beeing able to ride All the darkrides and Coasters. September we are again in Efteling Bosryik for 3 Days. Counting the days...

i have autism too and in the past i have used the disabled queue as well. more recently i have been able to handle the regular queue better than in the past so i no longer need it though. i do worry about the recent controversy about people abusing the disabled queue and what it means for autistic people in the future who dont have a visible or even physical disability but still need it...

⁠@@MinerBat Yeah, I’ve got AuDHD (autism & ADHD) and I never used the disabled queue because my parents always told me those are for people with physical injuries only, like people who need crutches or wheelchairs to move around. I actually didn’t know they were for people with autism and ADHD as well until about a year or so ago. Though I feel it’s somehow still wrong for me to use them because people can’t see my neurodivergent brain and I would feel judged for it, like as if I’m skipping the line illegally. Edit: I am always beat at the end of the day though. Last time I visited a theme park with my BFF (a small one at that) I slept multiple times on the drive home. I periodically had to wake up to check my GPS, nasty thing sometimes doesn’t talk until the last possible moment. I am on ADHD meds now, and so far they’re really great! Though they do give me a bit of a headache and can make me more tired, which isn’t great to get in a theme park of course. Also it’s kinda ironic that meds that should make you more alert and happy, have the side effect of making you tired, unable to fall asleep quickly and even (in some cases) depressed. Edit 2: One more thing I wanted to add is that sometimes long queues are mentally too noisy and therefore rage or tear inducing for me. Could I still get one of those facility cards they provide for people with AuDHD, while also just joining the normal queue if I’m feeling well?

I have loved watching these vlogs! I went to de efteling with my family in 1998. I was 9 at the time. I still remember the dream flight ride. And most of the fairytale characters. I remember going on the snail ride with my dad from the last vlog he didnt like it as he doesn't like heights! I have been smiling the whole time. Cannot wait to go back. It looks as though you had lots of fun!

My english isn't so well, but i try: When you stay for the Night in Bosryik, you are allowed to take one "Schlafmützen" (Sleeping Hat?) for every Person, that is there. You can also take the "Märchenbuch" (Book of Fairytales?) That is on the (?? Shelves??) Regal. If it is the wrong languege (?? Sprache??), you can go to the Reception and get one of your Speech. Theese are lovely Souvenirs, i think. We are in Bosryik in September again. 8 People ( 6 Adults and 2 Children. We celebrate the Birthday from a Kid there. We always take a House.

@@sohelenaandmartyn it will be a memory visit. We had my Father with us a year ago and He sat in a wheelchair. And was so happy, that he could do all the rides. He wanted to celebrate his birthday with the Family, but died Nov 2022. So we are doing this to his Memory. Will be fun and sadness too. We have two children with us, one of them has her Birthday at the first Day. We ordered to decorated the livingroom of the house an bring a Birthday cake. Thats awsome. 50€ and it's All done. You can order this only for the first Day, because the housekeepers are not allowed to go in the houses, as long as they are .... with Guests. So if you have your Birthday in the time, maybe this will be a surprise for someone? Please excuse, if my Englisch isn't the best; ist more than 40 years since i learned at school By

I love Efteling, one of my favourite places in world. But I find the best way the from UK is Via Harwich to Hoek Van Holland on Stena Line. Travel overnight in the best cabins on a ferry and you almost there with a lot less driving ! Love the breakfast on Stena Line !

Nice to see that you rode Villa Volta. Fun fact: this mad house was the first of its kind. It was actually the prototype of this ride by ride builder Vekoma. Nowadays, you can find these rides everywhere, in Blackpool ao

By the Way: the Piranha was also the first of its kind. It was designed together with Intamin (the Swiss ride builder). However, an American theme park wanted the world premiere and paid good money for that, so Intamin and Efteling decided to give them the honours of being first and did not open Piranha until the Americans had opened.

I think you can do villa volta next time you are there because if you can do coasters i think you can do volta. But some of my family members who do coasters get sick in volta. So it really depends. But the good thing about that attraction and efteling is general is the service. There is a vid of someone getting ill in voIta and the staff really handled it well. It is one of my favorite attractions there and i just relax,sit back and watch the other people while enjoying the music.🤣 Thanks for the vlogs, maybe i can enjoy the winterseries as well *hint hint* Oh and if you come back for winter efteling lose a couple of pounds first because you know: THE FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

I always second guess myself. I’ve done similar versions of the ride but just never know if it’s going to be more intense. I don’t ever want a repeat of how I felt once going on a swinging ship 😂 the staff were all fantastic we found 😊 ooooh we would love to return for winter. Thank you for watching x

You still missed quite a few must see fairytales! :)) like: " meisje met de zwavelstokjes", "cinderella", "tafeltje dekje ezeltje strekje", "snow white", "de zes zwanen", "the dragon", " the flying fakir" (which is ICONIC), "Sleeping beauty" and "Vrouw Holle" there are more but with the ones you saw, these are a must :). The septer of Pardoes you saw at the shop, you can go around the park with and activite "secret/extra" featers (like for exaple open the treasure chest, light up water fountains etc. (Also one in the museum).The septer lights up as you walk/are near such a feater ;) . I also missed a few other attractions, but as you said, al the more reason to come again! Thank you both sooooo much for this vlog series, I absolutely enjoyed it! Thank you!!!💖 I was also impressed by al the easy technology the Efteling has (like the ordering, games, online map etc.) and the "Bosrijk" part, never saw it (also not in a vlog) it looked STUNNING, really liked the fact that you showed that each attraction has a story behind it and where you can find it, LOVED your enthusiasm! Now I want to visit too soo bad. Once again, thank you very much for these video's!!! ❤

So disappointed you did not do the Pirana ;-). My favorite in the Efteling, especially on a warm day. But of course Droomvlucht is the best!!!

So much fun! For next time, do try the poffertje (Dutch mini pancakes), opposite the stoomcarrousel! And we always take some Asian food by the Pagide onto the Hondoletta boat ride for lunch. I gues you did all the rides except the bike trains. That one is for little kids, but sometimes they will let you on them for a vlog, it is beautiful.

Ooo thanks for the tips! We will definitely be back, we loved it so much 😊 Yep we managed all the rides except the one for kids and also Baron as it was closed. Hopefully we can get on that on our next visit! X

​@@sohelenaandmartyndid you do the Swan boats? Its a mini ride hidden away in a corner of the fairy tale forest. Also on the back of Polles Kitchen there is a donut shop which makes freshly baked mini donuts. Its a big recommendation for a snack especially with cinnamon sugar topping. Food is often in theme with the rides. At the piranha they serve nachos and fruit for example. At fata morgana they do kebab. Maybe for next time 😊

I went on Max and Moritz for the first time 2 weeks ago and Max is way better I think. Moritz is a bit plain in my eyes. Most people like Max the most I hear.
