My wife is from sawang (ban ngon), she told me a story two days ago about a school friend that moved to Canada when she was little and that she sent photo's of her in the snow back to the school for her classmates to see. I believe those are hyacinths 🪻 plants that cover up the water. I put 2 pieces in my mini pond and they grew and covered the entire thing 😅😅. They grow fast if you don't remove them.
